Never thought my gender would be discussed on forums Especially given your name.  This is has gotten rather silly. Maybe it's because I'm very ill (and the meds aren't the fun kind,) but I can't see how someone be so paranoid and have such tunnel vision that they: 1) Overlook the obvious symbol below the avatar pic and 2) Automatically assumes someone would go by a different gender. If someone chooses a gender on their profile, it's pretty safe say that the person identifies with that gender. Also, maybe it's because I avoid tumblr or twitter but I don't think about how to identify someone by the correct gender all the time. I address them by their appearance and/or demeanor offline. I've never been yelled at or made to feel like shit if I got their gender wrong on or off the net. They politely tell me what they prefer to go by. I respect that decision and move on with my day. I think that more people should detach themselves from places like tumblr. At least come up for air every now and then. It's easy to lose perspective and to start viewing everything through that narrow lens. |

I have to say that agree with OP. The males in ME always have unrealistic body types for the average male. I think all males in ME should be fat or/and ugly, especially the male romance, even If I don't romance males I care what the male romance should look like because if they are not ugly and fat is sexist and offencive for real males. People who romances males should be focus on the history of the character, not if they are ugly as fuck. OH NO. THAT WAY ONLY LEADS TO ME HAVING TO EXPLAIN TO MY MOM THAT GARRUS IS ACTUALLY A HOTTIE I HAVE A CRUSH ON DESPITE BEING A WEIRD BUG DINOSAUR WHEN SHE WANDERED BY DURING ME2. There are plenty of fit people around as evidenced by looking around my gym. I'm sure it's the same for Samoa and UK. I live here, i'm aware. However there is a difference between average and all. California for example is one of the fittest states in the country, but even California residents are on average more overweight compared to the averages of the rest of the western world (24. 7%) save the ones in the anglosphere. Most states are in this 20-30% range. I lived in several states ranging from Maryland, Ohio to North Carolina. It's practically impossible to not see someone overweight daily. Of course if you go in a gym you'd see fit people, but that's only a small fraction of people. Our single states beat out the averages of entire countries. That's pretty bad. |
