It'll be fixed when games go entirely digital. Until then, we're going to have release dates versus EA just pressing a button to send the game to servers when it goes gold in February.

I'm only byuing it digitally because the deluxe version's only available that way on PC where I am because that's the version I want.

you are preaching to the quire...I have only bought digital games since 2013.

with preloads available weeks before release how is that an issue?

Yes! So I can take time out to get giddy for 2-3 minutes then back to my normal day.

mine will just look up , wondering what  this whining , bickering, bitching and swearing is all about , and then realizing " oh, Mass Effect... again?  " 

lol nah...mine can tell when I am playing videogames...they just relax contently

U.S. Is pretty anal about data caps. Not everyone has the option of choosing their own service provider. They may get stuck with AT&T (slowest internet) or Comcast (The EA of internet)

I have a 30GB a month data cap.

I moved to boston in 2002 and never had a datacap through RCN, Comcast or Verizon...also I am with you with the medical...

You also have three ISPs in your area; two of which I know to be quite large.

Most people in the US only have one major ISP or if they have more than one, there's only one viable one. Plus in rural areas, these ISPs refuse to service those areas to begin with even though they received tax breaks and actual money from the government in the late 90's and early 2000's to build out the infrastructure for those areas. Those people are lucky to have speeds to stream Youtube in 360p; downloading a game is well outside of their scope of practicality, with or without data caps.

Plus, for people who live in apartment complexes, housing projects, and certain developmental communities, they have no choice in their ISP since their neighborhood has a contract with a specific one. For example, my grandmother is forced to rely on DSL service because her community has a contract with the provider even though they've provided nothing but unreliable home phone and basic television coverage. And her experience is far too common.
