I like the idea of a Javik-level DLC squaddie, if our starting roster is only 6 or 7. Maybe they could also add some of the species that don't make it in in the base game. The latter could tie in with new multiplayer classes, which I'm certain are coming.
A citadel-style DLC would be fantastic as well, particularly if they decide to use a different protagonist in future Andromeda games.

No dlc. Everything that would've been dlc already gets put into the main game But that's not going to happen so I guess frequent multiplayer dlc. As long as they keep pumping multiplayer, maps, classes, guns, etc. MP would keep my interest and people will keep buying multiplayer packs so it would be a win-win. As for the SP, I would like for them to not chop up everything into small bits. A true story expansion with more places to explore, weapons and armor to craft, and more interaction with our squad and other NPCs would be great.

I think we will probably get a Citadel-style one if the characters we get introduced to become beloved enough. I would say Trespasser was DA's equivalent to Citadel and it was amazing!

I can see some DLC involve introducing more of the old species into Andromeda since Bioware has stated they have plans for how all Milky Way races can be in Andromeda even though they are not in the vanilla first game.

DLC hub worlds and quest lines for other Andromedean races that we might not encounter but are referenced in vanilla MEA. And with them being populated on all of the vanilla worlds it's make sense for them to be in when tackling the stuff outside of the DLC.

Personally I'd rather see what the main game entails first before deciding on what I'd like to see in DLC I agree in terms of specifics, but one thing I'd definitely like to see in all DLC is character content, partly for new characters, but mostly for the protagonist and crew. It's nice to flesh them out more and it's weird when they barely comment on things in DLCs.

I rather not see weapon packs or new companions for they seem to not to fit into the game a lot of the time, weapons seem to more powerful then anything in the base game and companions don't feel like they are part of the game.
As far as things I would like to see, I think I need to play the game and see what they have done with it prior to being able to think of what I might like added. If I had to pick one thing I would like to see is modifications on what we already have instead of new weapons/armor so being able to add more weapon mods if they are part of the game or individual armor pieces so we can incorporate it into what we already have instead of outright replacing them, but that is more of a complaint from a person that replays games a lot.

I don't know about new companions as I though the ydid a decnt job with Javik although I do agree to an extent with Kasumi/Zaeed. As for weapon packs and alternative armour typ DLC I'd be surprised if we didn't get at least 1 even though sometimes they can feel a little empty. Although I've gotto admit in the trilogy I did like aqnd use a lot of what we found in them.

I like weapon packs; I don't like that they're dumped into player inventories from the start of the game instead of being stocked into in-game stores. If they were put into stores, the balance would be preserved early on. Same thing with armors.

If they do it like Awakening, that's fine. If they do it like Trespasser, it should already be in the game.

Story DLCs are usually canon and I hate to see my protagonist shift into something I don't like, and that is what happens most of the time. Humor is always a great addition, but not when you are forced to one path. It always seems that the main game is for all kinds of audiences and the DLCs are for the most part only fan-service.

I get what you mean, but for me it's all just a fanfic when I play DLC in games lol like in the old days when TV was actually good and we had shows that would do specials and people would act out of character a bit, but still had a good story or adventure. If the main game made my character do OCC stuff like in ME3 then I will be rather displeased.

If the main game made my character do OCC stuff like in ME3 then I will be rather displeased. Yeah, and I still remember how all the shitstorm with the conclusion of ME3 started. Believe it or not, it was slowly building with ME2 dlcs. At first we had Hammerhead DLC, with almost no dialogue implemented, then came Overlord and they started to get a little loose on dialogue wheels. Then came Lair of the Shadow Broker, and while it was a great dlc in some aspects (fighting a Spectre, fighting the Shadow Broker, and battling on the exterior of his ship), it also marked the real beginning of auto dialogue and the obviously forced friendship with Liara. Then came Arrival and it was the same thing. A lot of people hated this, myself included (and yes, the Liara part also). But with all the overwhelmingly positive reviews and response of the fans, Bioware assumed it was okay to railroad Shepard a little more. Then they took away our control even further from her/him, made a lot of dialogue without our input in ME3, and decided it was ok to extend that to the plot and characters as well (and that means, writing a lot of things without careful consideration), hence, the annoying kid that we were supposed to care, the dreams, the absurdly ridiculous fight with Kai Leng on Thessia, Priority Earth and the original ME3 ending. Even TIM got screwed in many ways with derailment of his character. You can (I mean, you once could) check all of the old BSN and see the complaints of this dating back to ME2, but since it was never vocal enough (at first), it never had the impact it should. ME3 ending was not the only time the devs went overboard, it was just the culmination of months of railroading. Hoping this time they learned their lesson, and they even admitted to putting more control again for the player back in the day. I just hope it goes for the new DLCs as well and not just to please fan fiction.

Personally I'd rather see what the main game entails first before deciding on what I'd like to see in DLC fair enough. I've heard ideas like playing as papa Ryder back in the MW. I don't think they'd go back to that era but it does sound interesting.

I don't really care as long as it's on the level of LotSB. Omega was good too, but that was more from a sheer gameplay perspective than the story perspective of LotSB.
