For ME 1 better fleshed out sidequest planets with more varied environments. For the sequels I would have liked more squad armor customization, helmets instead of breather masks, armor for all companions (jack for example needed armor). Thought ME 3 could have used an additional major hub to go along with the Citadel and I thought Omega should have been made a hub after we helped Aria retake it.

buy Samantha the toothbrush she mentions and have a scene on the Citadel so Shepard can give it to her. a paragon interrupt to give Samantha a hug after Horizon. Her family lived on Horizon. There's a good chance her parents are dead. At the memorial wall, if Shepard didn't romance anyone, space hamster is the one holding the nameplate During the scene with TIM, Anderson and Shepard, this music will play.

Mass Effect - Revamp and improve animations and use motion capture
- The uncharted worlds should be redesigned because they looked ugly and boring.
- Have the Mako capable for upgrading weapons, armor, and design.
- Remake the Citadel to be a vast open world to explore and I recommend look at designs for various futuristic designs to redisign the Citadel
- Have people move around like walking, shopping, kids running around, etc
- Improve squad based gameplay by introducing tactical shooter elements such as having your squadmates who are sharpshooters like Garrus and Ashely to provide overwatch to provide cover fire from distance and pick off enemies from afar, introduce breach-frag/bang-clear to clear rooms and corridors, order squadmates to ambush enemies to clear a path, and to pull it off recruit ex Special Forces to do choreography for combat, tactics, and teamwork.
- Create combat missions to be more authentic such as: skydiving (with a jetpack instead of a parachute) on certain missions, introduce stealth elements, make enemies smarter and dangerous, destructable environments to not make the player reliable for cover to protect the from enemy fire, and introduce real space travel with the Normandy, space dogfights much like AC4:Black Flag (also set up the galaxy map only for fast travel)
- Remake the clubs, outfits for dancers, and hire Jesper Kyd to do club music. And please somebody get a fashion designer who could make better clothes
- Create a crafting system for weapons and armor
- Redesign Sha'ira's place to have a more exotic and sensuality.

I wish BioWare explored the idea of the Dark Space Relay.
The theory goes that, as we know from ME1, the Citadel is actually a Relay - and the Reapers original plan was to sit in Dark Space while Sovereign opened the gate - and the Reapers would pour in through the relay from Dark Space.
Logical speculation, there must be a relay in Dark Space, also referred as The Dark Citadel.
What if the climax of the trilogy, the final, decisive quest, had Shepard and the Normandy crew going through the Citadel Relay into the Dark Citadel, to confront whatever entity controlled the Reapers, in the hope to deter them.
Much better than the original ending IMO.
The Dark Space Relay was originally mentioned in the official BSN forums during ME2. Unfortunately, BioWare never picked it up.

It occured to me.... Liara is an Asari with a 1000 years lifespan and Shepard who can be cloned.
Guess what, she doesn't even need to covertly try to impregnate herself with that London ending.

I wish that the starkid would have explained more about Leviathan, the Reapers & Crucible. He kept saying that there is no time & that Shepard would not know the creators of the crucible. Millions of years have passed since Leviathan first influenced the galaxy & starkid is not willing to spare a few minutes to explain about their history? Shepard came all here & the trilogy fans definitely deserved more explanation than bioware laziness to bring up more concrete back story.

Of course there was no time because the Catalyst/Reapers are most likely behind it. Makes the most sense as to why the Catalyst is a necessary component. If Shepard were outright told the Reapers created the Crucible then there would be no choice but to conclude that it was another trap.

It sure would have been nice if Ashley Williams and Kaidan Alenko had gotten their own separate character arcs, instead of you-know-what. Oh, and to hell with their contrived absence for the sake of even more contrived coup standoff. Can you imagine having Kaidan for Grissom Academy mission? Or imagine, just for a second, Ash on Sur'Kesh and her reaction to Wrex's particular words: "I could've put you in the ground that day, Shepard. But I didn't. Don't make me regret that." ?! It would have been absolutely delicious. Alas!

Nice hypothetical.
I would have all those pointless discussions and choices mean something.
Similar to leiliana in DAI.
The smallest convo turns her bad. If we could have had EDI/Geth/Reapers analyse our decisions, what we've said etc.
And then decide the consequences.
If say you said EDI was the ship she has purpose if you said she exists within the ship she questions her existence and then yours.
If you take conflicting positions, they question it from a machines perspective, and even turn against you if you seem not to be making sense.
If you were pro-quarian legion would turn on you etc.
Your choices would ultimately decide what ending outcomes the Reapers made available to you.
Thessia would have been longer and had a much better reason for how Kai Leng won.
One of your squadmates would have been killed in the temple while Leng made off with the VI.
Dreams would have been reflective of choices. Kill Tali, hear her telling you, you killed her. Same with Wrex and Mordin if you killed them. Thane calling out to his lost love etc.
Impact basically.

For Dead Space fans, having a movement that worships the Reapers and thus works for them. Yes I would have it a multi species movement that does have the Siari religion an Asari religion as its head, having members from all species as members to be secretly be indoctrinated by the Reapers. And slow down Shepard, his crew and any enemies of the Reapers.
I would include due to the player's poor choices, that Shepard and others could be indoctrinated by the Reapers.

Shepard's interactions with the ME2 characters in ME3 could have been done better, I think, especially since the basic outline in most cases is: you go on a mission, you see a familiar face, you introduce them to squadmates A & B, and then you get one, maybe two cutscenes with them post-mission, tops. And those goodbyes near the end of the game suffered too. After gathering all these people at your disposal it would be nice to actually see what they're doing to help the war. Jack kicking ass with her team comes to mind, or Samara with the rest of the Justicar. And someone else mentioned this before but I totally agree with having more cinematics in missions. In ME2, there was even a mission where you walked around on a derelict ship to uncover its data; we didn't just scan the planet and get the data. I wish they went that extra mile in ME3. There's a reason for the 'show, don't tell' narrative rule. And, of course, I wish the Dark Energy Arc hadn't been abandoned for that Synthetics Vs Organics conflict. That was Beast Machines all over again.

ME1: I think as is, it was a great introduction to the universe as a whole. Good narrative. Only knock for me was combat and I wish there was more variety for the side quests which involved going to planets and searching with the Mako.
ME2: My favourite of the series. Wish Jacob didn't exist. I think Bioware missed a huge potential plot reason to make Kasumi a love interest after her loyalty mission (something I wish we got). I would have made the motivations to make a human reaper a lot more clear. Possibly tying in to the dark energy plot that Drew created before it got scrapped before ME3.
ME3: Less Cerberus, no Vega, less Liara (she has so much more content than all the other LIs). The game does well in making you feel that you're pressed for time and that the Reapers can win it with the flick of a switch, but too much time goes in to fighting Cerberus and tying up loose narratives like the Genophage and the Geth-Quarian conflict; which is funny because those were probably the two best arcs in the game. More cinematics of ground forces fighting Reaper forces. MORE LEVIATHAN INVOLVEMENT. After Leviathan, it makes no sense that we can't just lay like 10 orbs near the landing site and effectively turn Harbinger off (obviously just one won't work on him). Bioware wrote themselves into a corner by showing how easily Leviathan's can take out Reapers. I don't think we should have gotten the two non-destroy endings. (assuming we stay on the same course of choices at the top of the Crucible) -> If your EMS is high enough, you get two choices; use the Crucible to obliterate the Reapers or choose to fight the Reapers through conventional means and take your chances. Ending epilogue (assuming your Shepard lives based on EMS levels) is Shepard helping clean up the mess of the war and he/she effectively becoming a walking God in galactic civilization (since most will be stranded on Earth for a while).
EDIT: Also, more involvement of ME2 characters in ME3. No reason why Miranda shouldn't have been a squad mate. You could argue the same for Kasumi and many others as well.

Trying to think of ideas that would be implemented in specific games, but here's a more general list:
-Omni tool is established as a melee weapon earlier in the series. Hopefully, it would have become an iconic part of the series (i.e. the way lightsabers are iconic in Star Wars). -Space combat. -Exploration is a focus in first two. Each planet is fleshed out with new characters and towns. Three is more about fighting the reapers giving the player a sense of urgency. Maybe we go back to those cities and towns and we see the effect of the reaper devastation. -A Majora's Mask section in three where a reaper fleet descends on Earth and a time limit is given to gather party, resources, and civilians. -Protheans remain a mystery throughout series, with little to no visuals of them. -Reapers are fully explained. Origin, motivation, and longevity are established with consistency. -Indoctrination due to Cerberus revival introduced in two would have an "arkham knight" psychological effect on shepard in three.
