Have Bioware's recent actions changed your mind?

This reminds me of why I generally don't want to know too much about musicians.

Ian Anderson may be a vain POS, but his songs make me dance so I really don't care. And creepily obsessing over artists' personal doings and emotions while they're still alive has almost never made me happy. I'd rather just enjoy what they made.

I'm waiting to see a bit more about Andromeda, but even my least favorite Bioware purchase has led to hours of amusement and a bit of joy, so I'll probably wind up buying it unless it looks like the game is actively made of spiders.

For the reasons OP mentioned? Nah... if I had to boycott every single jerk I meet, I would have to live as a hermit in middle of nowhere.
On the other hand, I'm not going to pre-order Andromeda until I'll see/read some reviews, maybe I'll even spoil the prologue for myself.
I won't buy it if:

1) Gameplay will be **** (which, in my opinion, isn't going to happen. Unlike Dragon Age, Mass Effect has pretty good gameplay that improves in each game)
2) Squadmates (and other characters) will be, once again, just caricatures with 1-2 character traits and one until-the-end-of-the-game repetitive joke (Garrus' calibrations, Cassandra's erotic novels, etc.). It was horrible in ME3 and Inquisition and it was even worse in their final DLCs.

Not much... because there's not that much room in the direction I was already going.

I'll wait for MEA to release and then see what's on offer. If it gets excellent player reviews, I might actually buy it, otherwise I will wait for a good deal on Origin (or an Amazon PC code) or just completely ignore it. It will require a lot of improvement over ME3's story and gameplay to convince me though.

I have never been hyped for this game, because I gradually get the feeling that BioWare no longer makes the games I really enjoy. I love story driven games, but I somehow still have come to dread "making the rounds" every time the story advances to catch up with every companion out there. It's a combination of the lack of interesting conversations and their dreadful approval system that makes talking to companions less and less fun for me.

As far as some of the charming people are concerned they've hired, that doesn't make much of a difference for me anymore... I stopped perceiving BioWare as honest and upright a while ago.

I'm sure a game review magazine will have an advertorial piece promoting the game's sugar and spice and all nice. And, if the
author(s) actually have hand on experience with the game,  a reveal of the hardware they played won't be forthcoming, either = based
on past articles.

As to J and the other guy... that mindset will eventually give them a heart burn.

I would say I'm more concerned than anything, but after DAI I was going to approach MEA cautiously anyways. Like an early poster already stated, I'll wait for Angry Joe's review. I value similar things as he does. However, if it looks like Mass Effect: Inquisition I'll have no problem waiting for it to drop to a $30 game when all (if any) DLC's are available. It's the first time since I got into Bioware games that my anticipation level is this low. I liked Inquisition but I didn't love it...the experience being diminished by grindy combat and lifeless sidequests. I really do hope it is awesome, because there are just too few that rise to that level imo.

I don't care whether "Billy dun this!" or "Kelly told that!". Fucking kiddo dramas - I'm over this shit.

I've got bucks to spend or not and I'll decide on what I get for them.

No, this hasn't changed my mind because my mind was already set on the game sucking major dick. BioWARE hasn't been good since Origins.

I will probably still buy it.

The only thing that could change my mind would be major warning bells going off about the game itself. Even if I had a problem with NK Jemisin (I do have a problem with the aforementioned quote about European medieval settings, but she doesn't appear to be a racist), she's writing a tie in novel not the game.
