That is by far the worst image of Sera I've ever seen. She's never looked that horrific on my PC. I have no idea what kind of toaster must be rendering that monstrosity.

I really don't give a fuck about this whole thing. That said, I do wonder how high the person responsible for rendering Sara's face was, because as has been pointed out thousands of times by now, she looks almost nothing like her face model while Scott is almost a mirror image.

Oh, I know, I read the German books religiously back when Assassins of Kings wasn't even planned... there is also a reason why most younger women on the continent are rather attractive. They are written as a Slavic people, as would also be expected.

Maybe saying that DAI's females look not as good as the Witcher's isn't the right wording... they aren't designed as well. It's pretty clear that BW was aiming for a more realistic - lifelike - look with their first frostbite engine game, but that somehow didn't quite work with female faces. Why? I can't say for sure, but it is quite noticeable... it's not that the characters are depicted as "ugly people", though, it's more like, well, they just don't look good... you know?

I understand what you are saying. Outside of Leliana and Morrigan (ironically the love triangle with my Hero of Ferelden), I didn't find any of the female characters to be very attractive in DAI. Then again, I didn't think any of the characters, regardless of gender, looked that great. I still will argue DAI had one of the worst character creators out of any RPG. It was hard to make a character that didn't look ugly, in my eyes. I'm hoping that MEA doesn't suffer from the issues that DAI had on that front.

So far, my concerns have largely been alleviated as I think Cora and Sara are actually quite attractive, especially compared to what we had in DAI.

We kind of commandeered it and took it in a more positive direction ages (or pages?) ago. That's the way these things work in all long threads. I wouldn't be surprised to see this thing last for a long time, since your thread's topic isn't exactly "going away" anytime soon.

I'm in the closed beta, though I haven't played it since before they released the Nilfgaardian faction. It's fun, but I'm not really counting it because it's not an RPG, which is what I was talking about and what I think of when someone talks about Witcher games. To my mind it doesn't really fill the niche of a "Witcher game" as I see it. If you're not into CCGs it might as well not exist, but YMMV, and so may the other guy's.

EDIT: As an example, it would be like Square Enix saying they would be expanding Breach mode into a new game. It may be Deus Ex technically, but someone itching to play a Deus Ex game is not going to be impressed.  Although unlike Breach, Gwent is actually fun.

Don't know if it has already been posted here and I'm at work so I can't post it myself but someone on the internet took a picture of Sara and the Asari squadmate and imroved them a lot by using Photoshop and that in only 5 minutes.

But I think that people are just worrying about nothing really. Both Sara and the Asari squad member probably look a lot better in the game itself and probably just looked bad in the trailer.

Well, yea, but that's actually only the last big thing that happened, so to speak... the whole sociopolitical culture debate has being going on for over 8 years now. So, if anyone, Obama probably had a great influence there.
