I was around for the Child's Play thing. What you just said is completely untrue. Alternative Facts. Fake news. You are either gravely mistaken or outright lying now. Yeah, I really don't care what you think are "lies" when you're sticking up for people who harassed and threatened the lives of the developers over complete lies.

ME1 didn't have cancerous radiant quests like DAI. But I understand you drones will defend the newest chocolate flavour coming out of Bioware. Uhm, Asari Writings, Turian Insignia, Battle Signs, Light Metals, Heavy Metals, Gases, Rare Minerals, Looking for Keepers on the Citadel, Chasing after Pyjaks and almost every anamolie on the uncharted worlds... Mass Effect had quite a few fetch quests. From the deepest part of my heart: Keeper 20 can eat a dick.

No I always like to think that Keeper 20 is the one we see getting blasted apart by Saren towards the end of the game.

I don't think this thread sufficiently appreciates the fine curves of a Supermarine Spitfire. Just to illustrate: The Spitfire is indeed, a beautiful aircraft. I would submit, however, a plane just as lethal, just as beautiful, with curves and edges I rather prefer? A beautiful craft, to be sure! As I like to joke - My Little Pony: Fifty Cal is magic. Despite the fact that Mustangs would hardly be ponies. The joke just works... Well, it seems to me like while appreciation of the Spitfire has climbed, we do not respect it's foe - and to underestimate one's foe is to not know him, thus achieve subpar results, according to Sun Tzu! Due to this, I present to you the Spitfire's main opponent: The Messerschmitt Bf-109! image spoilered for anti-pic bomb purposes... While I prefer the look of the Freidrichs and Gustavs, the Emil 109's were, indeed, beautiful planes. I fully agree with you. Unfortunately, I wasn't sure on what the rules were, and all the good, historical photos of the later versions of the Bf-109 I found had the Hakenkreuz. Unfortunately, I know of at least one country where such a picture might be againist the law, so I have no included any of those out of respect for our friends from countries like these!

I play a little game called War Thunder from time to time (same user name, in fact) and in my group of friends, we often refer to the Mustang as THE pony Learning to fly her in game has definitely been a fun experience. No where close to reality, of course, but fun all the same! As for the Hakenkreuz, I can certainly understand your reluctance to post pictures containing it. I'm of the opinion that symbols are powerless unless we give them power, but there are enough people who revile this one that showing restraint, while perhaps saddening in the censorship context, even if self-censorship, is perhaps the better option. I will say, though, that I'm probably a bigger fan of the Fokke Wulf 190's if we're talking WWII German fighters...

I also enjoy playing tanks (M60A1, yay!) to the point where I've redubbed my Ho-Ro to Ho-Ro-R, because that is what it is! As for the Haken, well. I'm a historian. I enjoy when things are correct, and the cross is just a sad reminder of an even sadder era. Ironically, before being adopted by Nazi Germany, it used to be a symbol of... happiness?

FTFY. As we near the launch of MEA, the more these forums return to their old roots. ME1 didn't have cancerous radiant quests like DAI. But I understand you drones will defend the newest chocolate flavour coming out of Bioware. You have a point, even if there was few fetch quests in ME1 at least they had cinematic camera and cutscenes with dialogues, like after scanning those keepers for Chorban (or on Noveria fetch quest for hanar if I remember right), you could even choose to turn him in or kill him etc. This is cool idea for fetch quests that I would not mind in MEA.

I enjoy when things are correct, and the cross is just a sad reminder of an even sadder era. Ironically, before being adopted by Nazi Germany, it used to be a symbol of... happiness? I generally play realistic with mouse aim, since I wind up with some weird sensory issues while flying in cockpit with a joystick. I really tried getting into the more sim side of things, but after a few minutes in a match, I'd get a bit of a headache and mild nausea. RB is at least a relatively realistic mode (with arcadey elements, to be sure) so while I wish I could "graduate," per se, RB is still fun. The swastika was a symbol with many meanings, but happiness, well-being, good fortune, all of these have been attributed to the hooked cross. That a terrible group forever altered the general perception of the symbol is faintly tragic, in my opinion. As you say, a sad reminder of an even sadder era.

I think Inquisition is a beautiful game.
The only problem was that the camera was too far from my main player, and the way the character and NPC bodies interacted with the environment and one another was very MMO-like. For instance, it didn't seem like they had real "physics" or reactions to surrounding objects or one another. They just 'slid' or 'moved laterally' .... like cheap MMO game models.
The meshes and textures in themselves were gorgeous, however. The environments were also gorgeous.
I'm hoping that Andromeda will add that special "relational physics" ingredient, tighter camera angles, and more cinematic cuts and features, that were sorely missing from Inquisition.
It's hard to tell in these clips, but I feel like it's promising.

If gameplay is good and smooth and enjoyable, who cares if it was done before? Seriously, why complain because "W,S,A,D is sooooo yesterday". The old days when Diablo or Warcraft came out, there were "Oooohhhs and aaaahhhs" because that was groundbreaking. At this point, EVERYTHING has been done so there won't be some outrageously insane brand new experience until they can tap into your brain and you actually LIVE the action or something.

EDIT: I thought you pointed out something else. That's kinda lazy but it's nothing extraordinary. They also reused the Banshee screams for the Terror Demons in DA:I.When it comes to animations specifically I'm kinda immune considering just how many ME1 animations has been used in every game for 10 years now. I knew those sounded familiar.

Actually it's not the same. Every time you explore you get something new and exciting. That is how it should go in a game like that. I really like this so far.

I didn't spot any reused animation for DA:I, but I did see some from the OT. If you've played DAI, MEA feels very familiar. Side quests, from 10 hours, don't feel meaningless.

Here I thought the OP would have something more substantial than showing an asset that was being reused. It's not new and not even a big deal when a developer reuses an asset in two different franchises.
