I'm a little confused by this. The Hissing Wastes were the easiest and fastest area to get around. Little blocking terrain, and REs can be dodged.

Seems many of the previews are commenting on how different (and pretty) the world designs are. I had 0 fears about that. Inquisition might have suffered from some bland sidequests and an overdose of herbs to pick, but in terms of visuals and design the zones were top-notch. From a French preview I read, the first zone alone looks really cool. |

If they are anything like Inquisition, I'll need someone to make sure I eat and drink. The world design in it was so fantastic and immersive that I would spend hours climbing over just one set of ruins and trying to get a sense of the history like I was some archeologist on a dig.
