On the underlined part: Then you're going against the lore, because characters specifically mention this several times on ME2 and ME3 that Shepard was resurrected, for it. How don't your accomplishments justify resurrecting you? Hell, I just quoted what the Illusive Man says to him/her the moment you meet him when you ask why he brought you back! On the bold part: And yes, I'm saying exactly what you're stating, the ability to influence people to follow them is part of their own badassery, not an alien power or vision. They are special, unique, because they are skilled (and that means much more than fighting ability), it's just not some supernatural power. I meant that the accomplishments made doesn't justify what Cerberus did, not that Cerberus did it for other reason. While they did it because of Shepard's actions, it's stupid to spend so many resources on a single man, no matter what he did. It's the start of Shepard becoming space Jesus. It might not be magical, but it's still not a sign of skill. It's just the classic 'Chosen One' specialness Bioware main characters often have. Is it better then being special because of magical abilities? Yes. It's still not good overall. Now, of course, I agree with you that what Shepard did wouldn't justify resurrecting him/her at all. It was stupid, and indeed, the devs wanted to turn Shepard into Space Jesus, which just made everything worse in the trilogy, imho.

Also just another thing I wanted to point out: Let's remember the Kett's work with DNA is impressive.

I didn't mind Corypheus for the first part of the game. I actually quite like his dialogue there...the problem is that he didn't deliver. Bioware failed to make his threat believable in the game, in my opinion.

Although another problem is that legacy was likely written with in mind a future faceoff between Hawke and Corypheus, so it'd have had a different feeling.

No. My point is, while he wasn't killed before, he was trapped, bested in combat, perhaps several times. By the Wardens, by Hawke, then by the Inquisitor. He wasn't a credible threat to me (and this is my opinion, not fact) because lore wise there are more powerful threats. He was a servant of something greater (as he believed), not a master, or ultimate being. Besides, we've also defeated his best bro in combat earlier, the Architect. So, having us fight the same kind of enemy again and again doesn't provide me with a lot of joy. It would've been better if he was the puppet of an Elder One (something darker, more mysterious, maybe an Old God, or an ultra powerful being from the Fade). Now, the Dread Wolf will be a worthy adversary.

So another episode in "humans most special in whole universe" saga lol? Many will not be happy Or are the Khet enemies of the entire AI? It could be that pathfinders can interact with Remnant tech, which moves away from humans being special in that regard. OTOH, the fact that humans can interact with this tech might be part of the mystery.

Now watch in horror as its slowly revealed that the Remnant are actually ancient humans who seeded humanity in the Milky Way aeons ago to protect the future of the species from A THREAT EVEN GREATER THAN THE REAPERS DUN DUN DUUUUUUN.
Also, Ryder can use the tech cuz s/he is a direct descendant of the super ultimate mega-ruler of the ancient humans excelsior.

Well that is essentially the Halo-verse in a simplified nutshell , so it's not beyond reason that BioWare might try and emulate another successful franchise.

Story wise, Bioware's plot were always generic, but I don't think they copied other franchises. In any case, no matter how bad or good it'll be, I seriously doubt it'll be like this.

Reminds me of Coryphefish. Y U STEAL SPECIAL POWER?! How to fix Dragon Age Inquisition: Deliberately rewrite it with the same plot but as a comedy. Ramp up the jokez and make the characters appear parodical and it's suddenly good. They almost had that route going when you make a staring competition with Coryphennus or when all of Orlais are apparently stereotypical, mask wearing people that impersonate the french demographic.

For all the damn hope I had for this game's plot to be good, interesting and intriguing...This post made me lose that hope. If it 's true then...Wow ,where is BWs creativity? Humans are special in the whole Universe because...reasons.

Humans are special in the whole Universe because...reasons. Which is ironic, because with the exception of 'VI civilizations (Geth, Reapers)', all sentient species share with the humans, to one extent or another, pretty much everything that makes humans who they are: Faculty of reason, freedom of the will, and finitude (mortality, being born into a certain sensory range, urges to stay alive and propagate). So Krogan and Asari and Salarian (and most others?) are all variations on the human theme. If humans are 'speshul' by virtue of being the masters of their own destinies, faced with existential choices, etc. -- then why not, for the exact same reasons, the Asari or the Salarian? Existential crises would be even more acute for the Salarians, presumably, since they burn out the quickest. As to our creativity and ambition, and whatnot; how is that different from the creativity or the ambition of the others? I could get human exceptionalism in a galaxy exclusively populated by the likes of Geth, Rachni, Hanar, etc.; but what we have is already 'tough turtle-looking humans', 'smart frog-looking humans', and 'hot blue babes (humans)'.

Did they say that the only person who can interact with remnant tech is Ryder? Because at least Bro and Sis Ryder would fit this and i think everyone from the milky way would be able to do so, probably because remnants programmed their tech not to respond to any of the other species in Andromeda, but not to unknown species from another galaxy

And after the Inquisitor who can close the breaches, we can now have the Pathfinder who opens the vaults. SIGH Why has BIoware so many problems with doors in generals? What’s next? A hero who can make doors? Solas will be the next main character of DA, opening and closing doors from the Fade? Revolving doors to justify circular plots?

Maybe it is our "speshul" magical and oh so totally amazing DNA. (human Reaper ,anyone?) Still boring though. The whole "oh we re just innocent explorers" theme is also kinda boring.I tend to like more intrigue and conspiracy in my fiction. Damn this game is so close and the closer it gets the more worried I become.I want to be good,so much! I want it to sweep me off my feet, wow me and make me say Bioware Sorry I ever doubted you...But I doubt it.

So what? You can't avoid tropes forever. There is only so much content you can create separately before it overlaps in different tropes. All Bioware games since KOTOR are these tropes.I really don't see the issue -some real interesting stories have followed this trope. This also does not change my opinion on playing the game. This in fact makes it more interesting to me. END OF LINE.
