I'm at about 1.5 too. One one console, half a one on PC. I'm on one of the Quarian missions and I just decided to not keep going.

On console I must have put up 450 hours across the first year and a half, maybe even less. Didn't play for ages, but on PC I must be over 30 in the last 10 days to 2 weeks since I've started playing again.

I was watching a streamer the other day play ME3MP while I was working, and someone in the chat asked if he was gonna do a run through of the SP and the guy said "Doubt it. I barely managed to make it through the first time." This streamer probably had at least 1000 hours into the MP

I've gone the opposite direction from OP, becoming more comfortable with a day 1 purchase. Even if many peoples' fears come to light and it ends up being space DAI, at a minimum I'll get one enjoyable playthrough. But I think it'll be better if for no other reason than ME combat trumps DA combat...by a long margin. And reusing some gameplay mechanics from previous installments isn't necessarily a bad thing provided they make improvements to each iteration. There was a lot in DAI that was good in theory but executed terribly. If they take their customer feedback seriously, it should be better.

Totally agree. I might, might, dabble in multiplayer with the other "I suck at multiplayer" players. But I'm still on the fence about it. So SP and story are the most important things about the game to me, and I think we'll be just fine there.

I'll do that. I've been saying that some time after launch I'm going to start an MP thread for those of us who are a little wary of doing MP because of lack of skill, fear of ridicule, or just shyness. I'm hoping we get a few people to try it together in a non judgmental zone. I think our motto will be something like: "We may fail, but we'll fail together." I and others may never try it again, but we could at least say why we don't want to do it again and know what we're missing.
