I hope Scout Harding is the female love interest in all the marketing for the next game. I know they'll never go back to the all-bi system for romances, but they could at least go back to having a bisexual companion being heavily marketed.

she is so cute, i hope DA4 give us at least a dwarf romance, the gay male romance can be a hairy dwarf warrior, they are the opposite to my type but hairy men seems to be very popular among gay men.

talking about romances, my dream is having a female bi qunari tal-vashoth romanceable companion who is passionate about you, tough in the exterior but sentimental in the interior, yes very tipical, similar to cassandra or even morrigan, but i'm a sucker for this kind of characters.

and another trope, but i'm 100% on board with a bi "roguish" male romance for DA4, human or elf, young looking with a handsome/male model face structure, and being twink.

I'd actually kinda want the KISAs (both male and female) to be gay. Would probably feel more impactful that way.

I don't think the DA team is brave enough to make the Alistair/Cullen of DA4 gated to just men. I just don't see it lol.
UNLESS this KISA is very beardy and bearish, not a blonde pretty boy.

I thought Abelas was pretty hot, more so than Solas. Pity he can die though.

Normally I don't have a lot to say on here, but the line-ups look fun. Just throwing ideas around for now, might have better ones later.

Gay Human Warrior – Typical guard of a typical town, until everything explodes (because Thedas) and he helps to organize and lead the survivors. Overprotective of the people around him.
Bi Elf Mage – First of a Dalish clan, finds out the Dread Wolf is causing trouble and feels obligated to help stop him. He has a sharp temper that tends to get him into trouble.
Bi Dwarf Warrior – Cold mercenary who grew up Casteless and fought his way out of the slums. Confused and wary that the PC would be interested in him; this romance is a very slow burn.
Straight Human Rogue – Youngest son of a noble household who acts like a useless drunk but secretly operates as his older sibling’s spy. Loves PCs who verbally spar with him.

Lesbian Qunari Mage – Would have been Saarebas if she hadn’t managed to escape Par Vollen when her magic manifested. Torn between old loyalty to the Qun and wanting it destroyed.
Bi Dwarf Rogue – Harding, of course.
Bi Human/Spirit Warrior – A swordswoman, daughter of a Rivaini seer, semi-possessed by a spirit of Valor, travelling to learn fighting techniques from different countries and taking odd mercenary jobs when she can. Cheerful and adventurous, but also an ascetic who spends most of her time training.
Straight Elf Rogue – A Dalish hunter and the sister of the First, she joins the PC to keep her brother out of trouble. Very practical and pragmatic, and a bit cold.

Glad you like it. Having family members on the team felt like it could open up some new story directions, yeah. Like having personal missions play out differently if you bring the sibling along or not, stuff like that. (And I feel bad mentioning it, but you have to wonder about the jealousy conversations. Yeah, I'm terrible.)

I am suddenly noticing none of my female characters are purely human, though. Hmm... well, it'll be fine.
