Rock, Paper, Shotgun critical Preview and Skill Up response

To be honest most of the useful things from previews/reviews is about the game's performance and mechanics. Plot/Story/characters, all those things will be very subjective, but there is often consensus when something is very good or very bad.

Ok, now I know what everyone is talking about.

Who is this?  Vampire lady from Skyrim? and what is that hair color?

I cannot believe that this lady is from the game.

Captain! another anomaly here, toss her out of the airlock.

Well that just about confirms every single fear I've had about this game.

well this is literally the first negative I've seen since most reviewers I follow on social media are praising it thus far.

From what I've watched, I've liked a lot of it.
Hopefully I can keep this opinion come next week.

I got up this morning believing I'd have toast with jam.

What i got was little more than heated bread with jam on it. The toast was dry and rather than using healthy margarine it was covered in butter.

Butter!

Impressive flavours aside, it almost seemed to have been designed to piss me off. Me specifically, because lets face it folks this isn't a review about your toast or even toast in general.

This is about me; and I can't emphasise enough how much that's the case.

You can like toast all you want but it's played out and so is porridge. Worst breakfast I've ever endured. There is still room to improve, coffee for example or maybe OJ.

I just don't feel like this breakfast has a lot to offer when compared with previous breakfast installments, like Milk and cornflakes, Coco pops or even frosty's (which less face it has a terrible ending.)

In conclusion, don't eat my breakfast or even buy bread. Stick with traditional breakfast platforms like eggs, bacon and pancakes. - Rock Paper Shotgun

Not a bad vid....he answered alot of folks concerns. My concern was one that was touched upon in the initial review in this thread. There was an issue about how the game automatically transitions you back on the main storyline when you are doing side missions. In other words, if you are on a planet doing side missions, but that same planet also has main storyline objectives, the game will just somehow make you transition back on the main storyline path.

Of course i'am just going by what that guy in the preview stated, but if this is true, that is a problem that needs to be patched on day 1 

I heard the the Kotaku preview was the exact opposite. Not trying to sound like a fanboy, just noting how different opinions can be.

With this review, (and ignore all of his grunts and groans) I'm really not impressed.




Sorry. But this game sucks. Except for you console newbs. Who'll accept anything. See : Zelda : Breadth Of The Wild.



I mean, you've got to talk to an asari and a turian right after, both of which send you on fetch quests.  JUST LIKE IN DAI.

What edge is that?

Sums up reviews anyway.

The guy doesn't like it, he doesn't like it.

But the irony is we talk about it as if the sky is falling...

It's all subjective in the end...everyone should calm down and judge for themselves when they play it.
