Rock, Paper, Shotgun critical Preview and Skill Up response

I saw some nice things during Streams but also not so good.
The first zone looks worst than the Hinterlands and frankly the "side quests" are on the same level...no really you have to put something on someone grave just like you did in DAI....
There's a lot of things reused from ME but also DAI and it's kind of comical because they reused the Breach just they just painted it blue...
For people who've never played ME or DAI , it's great. But otherwise it's a lot of been there , done that.

Anyone accusing RPS of hunting for clicks really doesn't know that site. It'seems one of the best sites out there - certainly no IGN exclusive preview 10/10.

I don't want to dismiss his opinion, because after all he has played the game and I haven't, but some of his critiques could be articulated better. Using "really?!" as an argument just doesn't fly with me.

Most of it seems like valid criticism, though. I'll play the trial tomorrow before I decide whether or not I agree with it.

At least BioWare enthusiasts won't crucify any reviewer for giving it a 7/10 like Zelda cult.

You probably have a condition called "expecting good writing style from people who call themselves reviewers". Keep in mind that video game journalism is little more than blogging.

Well, I've already seen counter-preview to this one. Counter. Freaking. Preview. Some dude got journalist access and not just makes preview out of it (I bet you'll never guess it's tone), but feels the need to defend the game from other reviewers.

I am too patient when it comes to bugs and animations BUT
seriously after what i saw yesterday the faces look dull, DEAD, the eys are awful.
What the hell bioware was doing all these years??
I hate to be that guy but face it: CDpr a polish studio with its own graphical engine nailed the presentation and the quests and voice acting while bioware with FROSTBYTE and previous experience gives us this shit.
Now i really like Sara from the start, peebee , i really wanna punch the negatie people bashing the game for crap like this , yet my problem is not with the beauty or the plastic hair but with the souless interactions.
I like the voice acting a lot but man the faces.. FRICKING TECHNOMANCER had similar faces and this game has the 1/10 budget of andromeda.
AM I GOING INSANE?

The thing is.. he is the only one saying this..  Every other Previewer says the Side quests are Interesting. But we have to remember even The Witcher 3 has Fetch Quests.. they just are clad in interesting Stories.

I mean he likes the ME3 Ending and really dislikes The Witcher 3. Everybody is totally entitled to their own opinion.. but it is obvious that he seems to have a very, very different taste from most of us. Most RPG Fans adore The Witcher 3 because while not perfect has proven that Great Main Quest, Good Side Quests, great Characters and Open World can totally exist in one Game.

Maybe as someone said Walker just does not like Open World RPGs at all.. But to be honest then he is the wrong guy to Preview Andromeda.
You can put a guy who does not like Racing Games in front of Forza Horizon 3 and he will propably tell you it is a horrible Game..
And while thats his valid Opinion its clear that he is propably not best suited to judge a Game in the Genre.
