I don't think default Sarah looks bad at all. She's kind of cute even. Besides she does look a lot better than most of the presets in the CC.

The scene where she cringes twice after the tutorial mission or the one where she awkwardly screams in pain look awful. Like, pour bleach in my eyes awful.

An alleged former employee of Bioware Montreal posted a review for the company in Glassdoor and it mentioned several worrying stuff, such as:
For example.
"Bioware Edmonton and Montreal symbiosis is broken. Lots of conflicts and bro culture."
"Lost over 13 leads (game design, art, audio, prog, senior core leads, etc) in 5 years at Bioware Montreal on Mass Effect. Edmonton lost only 3. It is clear that Edmonton has the bigger part of the stick when it comes to purge Leads and Producers who are not aligned with their leadership style."
"Putting people on performance improvement program (PIP Program) is the new tactics to get rid of people. Once again more than 10 people in Montreal got slammed with this bureaucratic uppercut to let go people that are not bending to Edmonton leadership styles in the last revision cycle. This approach is used by the Montreal Leadership to purge the mess from the lack of vision cause by upper management in the last 4 years (throwing people under the bus to protect bad core management)"
"Renaming crunch to Finaling mode. Which means company pays for your lunch but you have only 30 minutes to eat and then getting back on the keyboard. Was lasting for over 2 months and was a real catastrophy."
"Retaliation and harassment is sadly a reality. If you talk and ask questions you will be tag as a trouble maker and end up in a bad position."
"HR won't help you out. They will deny the current harassment from Monreal management by ignoring and not documenting the facts. In other words if you leave don't talk. Just let it go..."
"Many benifits got cut due to too much time extension to get the game done."
However please do note that posts in Glassdoor is not vetted, so this review may or may not be true.

From what I hear, they intentionally fucked up the face of FemRyder at the last minute to make her more relatable. They did photo of pre day 1 patch Sara (left) , the model they used for her (center), post day 1 patch Sara (right) Video of pre-patch Sara (sorry its in French)

^ Oh I don't doubt Chicken Little has a Twitter account, and probably posts on Reddit too. It hardly matters. Its still Chicken Little, so no one at Bioware (or anywhere else) is going to "panic" over their melodramatic silliness.

I take that with a major grain of salt. Plus honestly...if your bitching about a free lunch only being 30 minutes you are getting less sympathy from me.

Last time I checked things were running about 85% to 15% that people were happy with their purchase. And similar numbers were reported in the threads asking if people enjoyed their trial or what not. And the 'Pre-Order Cancelled' thread poll reported that 95% had not or would not cancel their PreOrders. That's not to ignore any flaws the game has, but the vast majority of people who intended to play it, still will.

I mean the big take away from all this raw data is flaws or not, MEA is still a fun game and its clicking with people despite of those graphical flaws or X issue.

I doubt anyone's panicking right now. However, criticism for this game pre-launch has been widespread which has led the mainstream perception of this game to be that it's buggy and half-baked regardless of whether that's accurate or not.
It doesn't matter how many polls of people who bought the game say that they're satisfied, the main issue is that it's looking like MEA will suffer from a weak launch, particularly since it is coming right on the heels of a few games which recieved MUCH more positive coverage (i.e. Horizon: Zero Dawn, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and NieR Automata).
At the very least, it will sell a fair bit less than ME3 did which is always bad for business.

You guys are delusional and/or naive. Bioware is most certainly panicking right now. A LOT of the previews have been bad. And not just bad, but awful. If the game doesn't get an 8.5+ or higher on Metacritic, heads will roll. Just because a few fans like the game doesn't mean the masses will. A lot of people won't buy the game if it doesn't get glowing reviews. If the game doesn't sell well, we might not get a sequel and a Bioware devs won't get any bonuses. I just watched the Gamespot preview and the entire panel spent 20 minutes talking about how bad the game was and had trouble finding one good thing to say about it... that's not good. They can't bribe people to change scores this time.

As Total Biscuit posted yesterday, many people fail to understand that this game was not developed by Bioware per-se. It was developed by an off shoot of Bioware set up in 2009 that included people who had little or no experience of game design or animation, hence the mess that is ME:A. "Most people don't seem to be aware that Andromeda is not developed by Bioware, but a sub studio formed in 2009 to do grunt work for the main devs that has never made a full game before themselves. Explains a few things and demonstrates how using the strength of a brand like Bioware to market a title can be a double-edged sword. People expect a certain level of quality from a studio like that and when they don't get it in some areas of the game they get loud about it." How is that our problem? If you buy a cake you expect it to be good, it's not my problem if they decide to give it to 3 yearolds to make it out of mud and shit.
