There were lots of complaints about her "feminist hair".  

Dude, the 'Feminist haircut SJW Cora' stuff has been all over reddit, youtube and this very forum. Either your speaking with little experience of what's been going on or you're feigning ignorance in an attempt to devalue the issues we have.

People on Twitter are talking as if it is confirmed Jaal was to be bi originally. Are the files really that clear cut?

I see some mention voice already existing too but I thought voice files were never found? Are some just misinformed?

Either way they did outrageously tease and unfortunately broke the promise that you could find out quickly if you have no chance leading to the great review debacle. When even a site as large as IGN doesn't know yeah...

Yup, I can't believe it either, if you want that trophy you need to romance woman or even two lol, as there is only one m/m romance that counts as romance to that trophy, as Reyes is just a fling.. All other orientations have at least 3 full romance options, just not gay/bi males who wants to romance males.. This is really weird especially after ME3 (Kaidan, Steve) and DAI (Dorian, Iron Bull) that there is not even a single male who is gay/bi in the whole squad...
Don't get me even started on romance scenes for Gil/Reyes, they are so censored, even kisses are mostly covered by arms/hands   And that dancing scene with Reyes, when Scott looks like a wooden toy lol, while Sara is all well animated and much more romantic 

I guess straight males prefer to watch naked male butt in Cora sex scenes...

I agree that the focus should remain on the unequal treatment and not necessarily the sexuality of a single character. It still leaves them with the "it just made sense for the character" defense, and they may not get the point moving forward. We could have an m/m squadmate in a hypothetical next game and still have issues like the fade-to-black disparity.

I personally am not interested in Jaal, but it would seem the #makejaalbi would be the path of least resistance to making things right. It solves so many problems.

1. Adds a M/M option as a squadmate;
2. Adds a M/M alien option;
3. Adds a steamy romance scene if they copy the FemRyder version.

I would be content if they did this, out of principle, even if I don't find Jaal remotely attractive and would never romance him myself.

I know the overarching problem is not all about Jaal, but this would be I think a strong solution and the least amount of resources needed.

On the plus side I hear Sheryl Chee fought to make Vetra bisexual which is great because that adds a lot more variety to the options gay Sara has. I might go with her for my Sara playthrough, I dunno yet. Anyway it gives me some hope for the next DA, DA team still has a lot of good writers even tho Gaider is gone.

BTW: What preset did you use for your avatar? He looks quite great and I don't think it's either preset 1 or 4?

It was six, took a lot of work tho. If I can get him onto that archive site I will but it hasn't worked for me so far. 

With gay male romance options being limited to only two non-party characters, as well as heavily censored romance scenes compared to other romance options, Mass Effect Andromeda was clearly developed with a bias against the gay male lifestyle. From the romance scene animation content, it seems clear this game was developed for straight males who would enjoy watching male-female or female-female interactions rather than offer options for anyone of the LGBT community.

While we fully support providing content that appeals to a straight audience, we believe that equal content for LGBT people could have been included without in any way negatively impacting the experience of straight players. This was simply not done out of bias - intentional or unintentional - on the part of Bioware.

We have attempted to contact Bioware for comment but they have not responded. Therefore we believe the best way to send our message is through financial means.

The achievement is across playthroughs so you could make 3 different characters with 3 different sexualities if you wanted to! Nobody is blocked from achievements. If you only want aliens or only want humans you can even get it! They tried to help everyone unless you just want a salarian companion 

This is rather missing the point that not everyone wants to romance outside of their own sexuality (as the player). Of course gay players can make multiple characters, just like everyone else; they can romance Jaal on a femRyder, but that should not be a requirement for an achievement when that is not the case for others. Gay players should not have to jump through those hoops.
