The delta was supposed to measure the amount of MF you've accumulated since April 20 when Apex HQ launched, but (1) I probably messed up the math and (2) as you pointed out different people are accumulating in different ways.
I bought the damn game for XBone so that's where I'm playing it. When it goes on deep discount on PC I guess I could start a new manifest there.

FFS that's ridiculous design on Bioware's part. Should strike teams get better as they age? A bunch of one-legged, disgruntled, freaked out salarians you've got there. But a very impressive screenshot. I've got a level 16 team that also has 10 Negative Traits. I'd disband them but I'm curious how many negative traits a team can get. The sad thing about this team is right after I purchased them, and sent them out on their first mission "easy" Bronze mission, they failed receiving a negative trait right away. It was downhill from there. Makes me wonder if like RL some teams are "electronically" destined to lose. |

Yeah, I've got 10 as well, and I had just done all of the available missions around 3ish hours ago. Multiple of the missions only have 6-7 hours left, which is very odd. Missions previously have always lasted for 24 hours. And there are two Bronze Apex missions as well. Is this maybe related to the event that's supposed to start today? I'm not going to send my teams on the APEX missions unless they are close to timing out and I can't play. But I went ahead and recruited a 4th team and got them out. Have plenty of MF, might as well, and if this is the new normal, will probably need them. If not, no harm in having them. |

Yep, I updated my app this morning before work and I've gotten ~10 missions available and most of them have <7hours of availability left. Some missions are ~5hrs in durations and the rest at ~3-4hrs. I think the update really tries to encourage players to BUY MORE strike teams to have a chance at maximizing MF per "round"
Also equipment has been boosted. Before Human Intelligence gave +10, now +20.
Empowered shields used to be +10, now +20

Yo, so the "time left" on at least one mission is different in the app vs the game. One of the missions does appear to be event linked, "These Beautiful Killer Bots", as it's got 92 hours remaining in game, but only 20 hours remaining on the app. It's also located on a new map, Paradox. I'm leaving it to do myself, but I didn't see where any of the other 10MF missions that expire in under 5 hours seemed special in any way when I looked in game, so I just sent teams on as many as those as I could.

And it's demonstrating the way clustering can work that we were talking about earlier in the thread. My wife's account, which she started a bit behind me and hasn't necessarily watched as closely as I have, so fewer overall missions and failures, has 3 teams and only 2 total negative traits. And she just got the first negative trait like 2 days ago, even with sending out teams on a majority of of the Gold mission. My only negatives are on one team with 5, so I'm in the middle in terms of picking them up. |

I also support the theory that strike teams are rigged! I have failed so many 92%+ chance missions it hurts!
And don't jump on me for statistics etc. I know quite well I don't have a large enough sample size to prove it and I might just as well be incredibly unlucky but after so many BW games, I really don't trust their randomness too much. :gentleman:

sorry that I don't read the 14 pages before I ask these most pressing questions:
1.) has anyone made experience with the rather expensive gear? for example: is it worth to buy "Exceptional Human Intelligence" for 300 funds and get +20 to effectiveness?
I want to get a reasonable chance of success on gold missions with my level 20 teams.
2.) is it somehow possible to get rid of negative traits?
3.) can you replace gear? can it be transferred ?

Don't buy gear. Its payback time is way too long.
Gear is locked to the team. It can be overwritten which destroys the old gear.
Negative traits are forever.

Speaking of gear...
1. Breaching charges is for "Hostage Situation." Quick response vehicle is for "A Hostage Situation." Wut?
2. What did the patch change, exactly? It now says two different things on each piece of gear - for example, a quick response vehicle is +40 Effectiveness during a hostage situation, then under it says ITEM TRAITS: +20 Effectiveness.
Does that mean it's combined +60 effectiveness during hostage situation, and +20 in all other cases?
3. Just a general curiosity because I might end up spending MF anyway because there is nothing to spend it on - let's say gear is for We Need a Hero. Does it stack with Heroic for such missions, or does it overwrite the bonus from Heroic?

THANKS! I got the Exceptional Human Intelligence for my Level 20 team, Gold Missions now have a 70% chance at the lowest. Still too low for me to justify sending them, but I've seen a few up around 80% depending on relevant traits. Without the EHI the baseline for Gold was 60%. |

Well, maybe yesterday was just an oops after all with missions. Previously, new missions were popping up throughout the day, and two new Bronze missions had been showing up every night at midnight (one APEX one non-APEX). No new missions showed up at midnight last night. I just finished off the last of the missions from yesterday evening, and now my app has a countdown that says "New Missions In 07:39:51" which would be the same time last night that a bunch of missions appeared. So it looks like rather than scatter missions throughout the day, they're just dropping all the new missions at the same time every day.
