All asari have the same face

Default Sara's face depends on lighting, angle and animation, there are scenes where it's goofy or fugly but most of the time she looks fine. The custom presets are fugly as hell though.

They definitely should add more diversity for asari faces at least in DLCs. Maybe casual players don't care, but for me it's sad to see that all asari look the same and less attractive than in original trilogy.

All the qunari in DA2 had the same face but that game was made in 1 year, not 5, and it had to run on inferior hardware.

Sadly I am not seeing this issue out of the dedicated subforums and subreddits. The animations issue reached neogaf and big gaming sites. It became noticeable to the world at large so they had to address it. I don't think an issue becomes a priority if only the fans care about it. I don't expect a change for this one.

It's just most likely the same asari, she just got an FTL drive in her ass.

Nor do I, on twitter devs react to a lot of the problems, but are always quiet when it comes to asari clone face.

They could make one new asari face, a good looking one this time, and clone that. Not much work (probably), still clone-face but at least asari wouldn't be a fugly race.

Only Asari I really bothered to talk to/notice were Peebee, Lexi, Keri and the pathfinder, so I could care less.

It is because the Asari look like actual people, unlike Salarians or Krogan. There doesn't actually need to be that much variety in the facial features of the more alien-looking aliens (though of course variety is always great) because they don't look like us, and a different skin tone and some variation in facial marking is going to be enough for most people not to notice the similarities. That there isn't a lot of variation with the Asari is much more noticeable than it would be for Krogan, because they have human faces. It ties into our biological programming.

If there is ever a ME5 human NPCs and aliens that look like humans (like the Asari) should be prioritized for more work from the artists than species like the Krogan or Salarians for that reason. 

Has anyone ever thought of taking Asari faces in Andromeda and imagining them on other Asari characters from the original trilogy? I don't think Aria would look a 10th as intimidating with that face.
