So quick question for those who have played the game and finished it...what is the point of no return? Is it as obvious as it has been in previous ME/ Dragon Age games? I just ask because yes I have looked at the main quest missions once to see where I was in the game, and while it gave me a good idea, it still left me with some confusion on precisely what the end game was/ is? Just curious because I obviously do not want to railroad myself into the end game until I am one hundred percent ready to go on my own terms.

Also, replaying and about 20 hours in and still loving this amazing game. Seeing some cool interaction changes and seeing some bigger shifts. This game is pure Mass Effect awesomeness. Also, got my RC Nomad today! Quality vehicle and simply a bladt to drive around. Life is good.

It's very obvious - there's even a pop-up message before you commit to it saying that it's the final run of the main story and while you can explore after, you have to finish the main questline first. It's not until you: Go search for the Meridian - the second time. The first time you search for it isn't the final run, there's more after. You'll see if you're not there yet.
(Side note: I'm glad you get to show off your Ryder now, colfoley, but dangit... I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss Jon Snow brooding on my screen constantly )

Besides instead of Jon Snow brooding you have Cassandra Ryder brooding/ going 'what the hell are you talking about'...which kind of fits given a good high percentage of the commentary on this board.

Its actually funny for the longest time I did not care much about Jon Snow. He was flat and uninteresting. Ygritte really let the character grow and gave him a new perspective on life.

Same, it wasn't until the end of season 2 that I began madly rooting for him, Robb was my main, but then he began doing stupid shit. He still is.
Jon Snow, now, is just the greatest of all Seven Kingdoms.
Jaime ain't too far, though.

Ugh. We should be talking about Andromeda. But my favorite Lannister is Tyrion. Which, taking multiple character quizzes is the person I apparently am in GoT. I'm Tyrion. Just without the drinking...or the cynism...other than that I'm a dead ringer.

I am just having a ton of fun exploring the planets and driving around in the nomad. No glitches so far and the animation isnt as jarring tome anymore.

Thank you for the response. I admit its a bit weird for me too. I mean I am actually very fond of my Ryder and she has really grown on me....but on the flip side I am a guy so I feel I should have guy avatars...but then I also wanted to show off Cassandra. You're welcome! As for the avatar... Eh, do what you like! I almost always have guy avatars myself, since I play them more often - sometimes causes confusion for people but eh, no big deal.

For me I like to RP, not play myself and it's easier to do if I'm a guy. That, and I love beards. I'll usually do a female run on a second or third play.

I think since I am not a woman it is sometimes easier to distance myself and actually Role Play. Though I think I am having a little trouble RPing Cassandra. IE its not coming 'naturally' to me and I have to think about what she would do in X situation whereas with my Shepard or my Hawke or my Trevelyan there were a lot of times where my hand would just select the natural option for that character almost of its own accord. Though I do also find it easier to RP in a second PT of a game then a first. And I also tend to alternate or....not always play one gender 'first' and then the other. Like last two games I played a Male Trevelyan and a Male Sole Survivor first so with Andromeda I went with Cassandra. Can't wait to play Robert Ryder though.

I played as Sara for my first game; and I'm now playing Scott in my NG+. (I tried using Brewis Ryder, but he's odd looking, with facial tics. I instead deleted and imported my twins from my first game, with the slightest of tweaks. That's a cool feature, that they're a package deal by default.)
I'm finding the differences in BioWare's characterizations of Sara and Scott fairly significant, in terms of RP. It's not affecting my choices, but it did emphasize that these are two different people. I guess seeing "my Sara and Scott" swap places in the sick-bed drove that home, too. The first time I visited Sara, I thought, "It's Scott's turn, this time."

It was hinted throughout the game that he is different, more adventurous, while she is more nerdy, and it's good to have it confirmed. I'm now replaying as her again for romance reasons, but Scott's PT is somewhere in the future for sure!

I really love the game, so I decided to go on the blackout for a few weeks or maybe months. I am all for different strokes for different folks, but continuous negativity is too unpleasant.
Good gaming, folks!

Just finished the main story. Overall, i'm satisfied with the game. It's FAR from perfect, but i got enough out of it (and still have a lot of things left to do) to justify the purchase. The last mission was something i really liked and the distress call from Quarian ark made all so much better. Now, what i'd like to see is their (BW's/EA's) full commitment to fixing and expanding the game. If they can do that, i believe the game can be something special. Edit: Not being able to explore the Meridian sucks balls.

I'd say she's slightly more bookish and he's a bit more "Alliance marine", but it's not forced upon you too hard. Scott can be as interested in science as you want him to be, for example; though he even says, at least a couple of times, "Sara would love this," or "My sister follows <such and such>". They're pretty equal, in terms of adventurousness.

He looks weird on my PS4, though, so I prefer my CC Scott. If his eyelid and jumpy eyebrow issues are among the fixes, I'd definitely like to use his face. I think it really fits the voice and character.

So last night my Ryder took a big step from "scared kid" to "pathfinder" she is starting to find her footing. Also warming up to Cora.
