Where do we go from here?

It's their problem, all i know is Bioware Montreal sucks. Obsidian made way better written KOTOR and been consistently making good, well written games. So i'd go with them as a pie in the sky scenario.

KOTOR was always better then KOTOR 2. KOTOR 2 is just awful.

Gosh I wish people would leave Obsidian out of things. Heard enough about them after F4 came out.
Honestly their stuff has been garbage - keep them away from Bioware stuff.. please

While ME:A has some things that need fixed overall its a great game and one I really enjoyed. Even got my mother more interested in the Mass Effect universe- which is a feat in itself.

I definitely voted that Montreal keep it up - let's hope they keep the series going in the same direction and don't knee-jerk to make it more like ME2 again.

First off, Edmonton is busy with a new IP and Dragon Age so thats not an option, second, Bioware isnt going to outsource their original IP to an external party, they did that before and it ended in disaster. Lastly, Montreal now has experience and a new universe to work with, the Milky Way story line is done, that ended with ME 3, period, so if there is a next game it will be in this universe.

As ridiculous as that sounds, it worked out for Borderlands series, another third person shooter, so... why not? Tales from Andromeda, huh, has a nice ring to it. A colorful bunch of characters from different races band together to have wacky hijinks, dodge being shot by bandits, kettified, or eaten by a fiend, and attempt to loot ancient artifacts from Remnant vault, with humorous results of course. I'd play it.

The original version of KOTOR II was good until the end, which was abysmal until fans restored it.  It was literally like someone walked into the room and said wrap it up, and development stopped.

On topic.  They need to fix this game first.  If it has to be a free patch like the extended cut on ME3, or good DLC like ME3.  DLC saved that game, for me at least.  The game in it's current state I couldn't even in good conscience recommend to my friends who were waiting to buy it.  I just told them to get it on sale or wait until some more patches came out.  This game needs to be like DA:O popular, when they couldn't get the DLC and the next game out fast enough.  Obviously the second game ended up being rushed, but they need that level of excitement around the game that was present for DA:O.

a second game wouldn't be so bad if evacuees from the milky way arrive after the reaper war ends with the milky way screwed. (fingers crossed)

Honestly, I find the flaws of MEA to be relatively bearable;
So I'd give them a second chance.
People learn from their experience.
BW Montreal got hit so hard by the critiques that if they were to do a MEA2, I doubt they'd be making the same mistakes.
We're talking about a beloved franchise & millions of dollar worth company.
It's no longer a simple matter of satisfying the fans anymore, if the 2nd franchise go wrong again, they won't be able to make money off of BW Montreal again.

I just want more ME. Maybe a game linking both galaxies. Though the tricky part is that the Milky Way Humans, Turians, Asari etc... will be 600 years more advanced than their Andromeda counterparts.

Obsidian "screwed" themselves by releaseing such a horribly broken game at release. Had they bothered to fix more of those bugs, That Bethesda ended up fixing btw, then they would have gotten that extra point. 

After putting in so much effort to lay a solid foundation for sequels with the Jaardan, Scourge Aliens, Benefactor, and the Kett I can't see them not making another one. And despite some hate I guarantee they made money. DA:I barely broke top 3 on UK sales charts when it came out and it was one of the most successful first week launches for a game to date for them.

Wouldn't mind a time jump of 10 years or so that lets the Ryder's mature a bit and lets you see the outcome of all of your work. Don't need big open worlds on Eos, Veold, Kadara, etc again. Just let us see the colonies and how the planets have changed then focus on new stories and planets.

You don't know that for sure. How can you say all these like you have all the proofs that EA and bioware aren't considering other options? Obsidean game wasn't as bad as this MASS DEFECT Bluderomeda. Price of the game dropped 20% after the game was released. Enough said...
Also milky way story is not entirely done. Again why make a blind assumption? lots of people wanted mass effect that takes place after the trilogy instead of andromeda. I "believe"(since i dont want to make an unconfirmed assumption) Bioware Austin can work better than Bioware montreal since Their cancelled game was amazing and smooth even if the game was alpha stage. ME:A was poorly written story and poorly designed. Lots of ME fans are not happy with this andromeda.
Forced POVs, Forced ideologies and propaganda. If Bioware focused more on gameplays, mechanics and even plots rather than focusing heavily on their ideological agenda the game would turn out to be better. I couldn't stop thinking that this game is so lazy(asari faces are all look same except peebee... what is this...?) and anthropocentric. infact other species were just so human and very bro culture of our society when they have completely different evolutionary steps, culture, civilization and ect. Heck they even talked like humans and used "human only" metaphors to often. either the Bioware Montreal is way out of league to make big games like mass effect or they just can't think outside the box or better off as supporting role such as helping other divisions while other divisions of BIOWARE or EA to take lead designer of the game and franchise. Also they need to stop with the egocentric ways to force their certain political and social views on games while ignoring fans demand completely. EA had to make an apoology to certain group people because bioware montreal forced their views on their game. Drop that kind of act and focus on gameplays and interesting Plots that relates to the franchise lore instead of wasting time and resources on irrelevant subjects. people are tired of politics and social issues and want to play game yet we have to face those two in our favorite game again...? Please no thx...
