After putting in so much effort to lay a solid foundation for sequels with the Jaardan, Scourge Aliens, Benefactor, and the Kett I can't see them not making another one. And despite some hate I guarantee they made money. DA:I barely broke top 3 on UK sales charts when it came out and it was one of the most successful first week launches for a game to date for them. Wouldn't mind a time jump of 10 years or so that lets the Ryder's mature a bit and lets you see the outcome of all of your work. Don't need big open worlds on Eos, Veold, Kadara, etc again. Just let us see the colonies and how the planets have changed then focus on new stories and planets. Basically this. They created an incredible amount of assets for this game, ME was created from the ground in Frostbite, Montreal got its baptism of fire and although it wasn't pretty for them it sure delivered and enjoyable game yet with its own flaws. I'd say give it another try, the universe, the characters and the lore provided deserve another game, all these efforts can't be wasted. I'm sure EA turned a profit out of MEA so they should continue on what was created. I particularly love the suggestion for the sequel of letting a good 10 years or so pass, so we can see the development of our actions and we get a more mature cast.

We get to see first hand how the planets improved in-game and how the studio itself improved. It wasn't a home run, but it was a base hit. A cheap (EA), bunt (Bioware played it safe, but got aboard) single and the runner on first (Ryder) looks like he's going to need a couple of DLCs to drive him home. I'm ready to assume my Warden from Ferelden again. I'm ready.

People don't realize how powerful word of mouth is to games especially on the internet. Witcher 3 sold a lot because of word of mouth being positive. MEA will not sell well because of negative word of mouth, low sales will lead to bio Montreal closing and mass Effect becoming a retired franchise, mark my words...what could have been lads and lasses.... If you listent to the reviews you are right. But that is not really 'word of mouth'. And the word of mouth on the game has been overwhelmingly positive. People are saying they are really liking this game despite of the issues and the people complaining about the issues, most of them, I wonder if they have actually played the game. Besides, I have marked your words for nearly a year now, probably....actually a lot longer then that and most of your other predictions have been oh so accurate. (sarcasm btw) Of course, word of mouth overwhelmingly positive is what defines MEA. LOL.

Let Obsidian write it, Bethesda do the open world stuff and BW Edmonton do the characters and BW Montreal do the combat.

Dunno, I mean I did play DA:I in the end and finished at least the main story after about 3-4 years of trying. It will be the same with ME:A it looks like. I only discovered ME1-3 beginning this year or was it last year? I played through them in a week despite work and when I finished I started a new game in ME1 to play them again and I itches me to start another playthrough. DA:O I played through all the way several times and when I got bored in DA:I, I started a new campaign in DA:O. DA:2 is very good as well. For me the Frostbyte engine and the way the games play and especially the new way companions are handled is not my style. I have/bought all DLC for DA:I because every time a new DLC came out, I tried to play the game again. I pre-ordered DA:I at the time and couldn't wait to play it. With ME:A I waited for several days and watched some other people play before I gave it a shot. I'll not make the same mistake with this title to buy any DLC and I will probably not buy the next game from Bioware without doing extensive research. The next Bioware game I play is probably KOTOR.

Wait, did the poll completely change or something? Because I thought one of the answers was "Direct sequel"...
