Shadow Broker should've been one of the side quests, not a DLC which is unavailable for some regions (seriously, unlock the damn thing already! ) If your ME2 is on PC, you can just buy English LOTSB

Not a chance. They made it very cleary - they don't want to be found. Whatever problems they're facing, are too serious for DLC. I highly doubt that. Or I hope not. They can't just tease us with Quarians that need saving and then make us wait how many years for the Sequel to finally mount said rescue? The Keelah Si'yah has to be a Story DLC. The thing is - the ark is full not only of Quarians, but also Elcors, Hanars and Drells. And they need a problem for MEA2 so... this ark will most likely bring it to them. Shadow Broker should've been one of the side quests, not a DLC which is unavailable for some regions (seriously, unlock the damn thing already! ) If your ME2 is on PC, you can just buy English LOTSB Xbox, english version. I don't play on PC anymore. And it's not that easy. People had to mess up with cracks to play it... I wouldn't even know how to do it.

Sorry if this has been suggested before but I can't see all the previous pages due to a problem with my tablet.
Given Tann ends up as director after 7 others get killed (that seems a large number) and his animosity to the Kroga could it be a salarian dalatrass?
Perhaps that also ties in with the Salarian ark plot.

I dunno if she's related, but did you notice that the Benefactor (scrambled?) voice sounds awfully alot like Lexi's? She does mention that her exes complain that she sees everyone as an experiment...

The Quarian Ark really doesn't seem like it will be that central of a story thread. Though I'd prefer they go old-school and do a proper expansion that moves forward all the plot threads to greater or lesser degrees instead of piecemeal dlcs.

Don't forget the Quarian Ark. The recorded transmission from that Ark made it 100% sure it's happening (You can listen to it at the end game thing ). I think that's going to be the first DLC also. There's a decade-old escape pod in orbit around a planet in the Nol system, and when I looted it it had a Quarian Nav-something-or-other. Which I thought was super strange, given that there should be nothing in Andromeda that's decades old and had anything Quarian. I don't know if it's just auto-generated loot, but why is anything Quarian auto-generated? And if it's not, why is it on an escape pod that SAM said is at least a decade old?

Nope, he/she's too important to Andromeda story. Well we could get a Solas/Trespasser type DLC with them. Benefactor: “The mysterious benefactor is intentionally left unresolved, as it has deeper ties to the metastory of the MEA saga. By the time you find the killer, they’re long gone…”www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2017/03/25/mass-effect-andromedas-producer-talks-me-through-the-endings-loose-threads/#744a5ced1671So you can for sure forget about Benefactor DLC The thing is - the ark is full not only of Quarians, but also Elcors, Hanars and Drells. And they need a problem for MEA2 so... this ark will most likely bring it to them. TBH I think the inevitable reprisal of the Kett will be a much bigger threat going forward into MEA2. The Quarian Ark really doesn't seem like it will be that central of a story thread. Though I'd prefer they go old-school and do a proper expansion that moves forward all the plot threads to greater or lesser degrees instead of piecemeal dlcs. Yeah, it's for sure not the end of Kett although whatever bigger problems will come, they'll most likely come with the last ark. Too many species are out there to make it into the DLC. If we'll get any DLC connected to the arks, it'll be about Salarian Ark since: “Again, one of those decisions that you may not see the full repercussions of that…for some time.”www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2017/03/25/mass-effect-andromedas-producer-talks-me-through-the-endings-loose-threads/#1d2d4ab91671But even this one isn't 100% sure.

TBH I think the inevitable reprisal of the Kett will be a much bigger threat going forward into MEA2. Even though Archie is dead, the kett remain the biggest threat. They know the locations of all outposts. They know the location of the Nexus and Meridian. What will Primus do? Most likely call back to his leaders to see/hear how they want him to proceed. It's possible they could tell him to pack his bags and leave the cluster. I doubt that. Most likely they send a much larger force to help Primus. How long will that take? Don't know It might be in a dlc or saved for the next game I believe the first dlc might be about Jien Garson and the benfactor. Very curious how it will play out

I think Lexi T'Perro is the Benefactor. Why? Because in the memories you see of Alec Ryder speaking to the Benefactor...it is Lexi's voice.
It is her voice after all. Either they just used her because of whatever reasons or they intend her to be used in future ME games.

It was already discussed here, but unfortunately dismissed rather quickly. The term harmony is a typical Kett thing, has something to do with their beliefs behind the whole exaltation business, but don't ask me what exactly. Benefactor is also something the Kett would call someone, they seem to be rather fond of using titles instead of names, though they seem to have individual names. Kett influence already in the MW, or someone from the MW adapting Kett habits when dealing with them? I know it's shaky at best to base a theory on a single term, but we don't have much to go by.

Yeah I've seen the other discussions now and am of the impression that it is probably just an accident or coincidence that wasn't spotted. I just hope that if it is an error, that when BW see all the discussion it has generated they don't try and work it into the plot. After all, the Leviathan of Dis started out as a little homage to Farscape that ended up becoming a major part of the backstory.

That's just randomly generated loot that's pre-named. It has no actual story ties to the Quarians since their Ark left after the first four due to their technical problems. Then again are you sure that Pod was ten years old? Cause the Initiative's only been in Heleus for about 14 months.

Edit: the screengrab is on Reddit. So, red herring, or clue? So... Who is Hztch? Judging from the location of the message I suggest he is a Kett, and the most important Kett in Eos in-game is the Ascended guy in their base. Do they have milky way spies? And if the benefactor is from the MW, why does s/he works with the Kett? Questions questions... Eos was a "success", so that means that the turn of events (Ryder activating the vault and clearing radiation, Prodromos established) was good for the Kett? So why the Kett attacked the first 2 colonies? Besides, homeworlds? Did the Kett had connections in the MW? If we go over all the popular theories for the benefactor, for the Illusive Man it is Earth. For the Shadow Broker it is the Yahg homeworld. For the Geth you can say it is Rannoch. How could s/he possibly show the homeworld to the Kett, maybe outside records?

Why would Illusive Man give a shit about saving 120,000 people, 80% of them of which are aliens, when he's pushing his agenda to control the Reapers themselves? The Illusive Man wasn't interested in controlling the Reapers until Mass Effect 3. It wasn't even something he knew was possible until the end of 2. The Andromeda Initiative was already on its way out before Mass Effect 2 even concluded. As far as helping the other species, I'm sure it was out of necessity. There's no way the other species weren't providing financial support (and other support) to the initiative. Personally, the reason I think TIM is involved is because I think Cora Harper is his daughter. From the Wiki: The Illusive Man was a normal civilian with a job and a family until the discovery of alien life...Before founding Cerberus, the Illusive Man was known as Jack Harper. The last names could be coincidence, but I doubt it. I think she was planted. Obviously, any details are just theories at this point, but she's the main reason I think TIM is involved. In the last memory the MB says " We are all thats gonna be left of civilization." This implies a) that the MB is going to travel to Andromeda too, hence the "We", and since he didnt say "We might be all thats gonna be left of civilization", or "We will probably be all thats gonna be left of civilization", he seems to think that the Reapers are unstoppable, which TIM never did. I sincerely doubt its going to be him. Unless they are making usage of the majestic plural of we. TIM always uses 'we' and 'our' and similar wording when referring to humanity. In his mind, Cerberus and humanity are one and the same. Also, TIM always uses whatever language fits best to 'motivate' the team/person he's manipulating. Look at how he talks to/about Sheppard and his crew in 2 compared to what you learn about his true thoughts from recordings in 3. Telling the Andromeda group that they're humanity's only hope while telling Sheppard the same thing seems just like him. If there is still a 'benefactor' in Andromeda, it has to be Cora.

If there is still a 'benefactor' representative in Andromeda, it has to be Cora. Adding to my Cora Harper is TIM's daughter and that TIM is the benefactor theory from above... on my second play-through, and near the beginning Cora talks about going from a little freighter to Alliance Military to the only human in an Asari commando squad. Then out of nowhere her mentor kicks her out of the Asari Commandos and tells her that the initiative would suit her better. No reason given... just go. Then she gets to the initiative and is given the number 2 command of the human arc right behind one of the creators, one step away from being pathfinder. Something is up. She just seems to fall into high profile positions without any effort on her part to get those positions.
