*sigh* sadly no they just used the Scott scene and put Sara in his place. Same with Vetra and Reyes. Straight men and woman got Cora, Liam and Jaal, who had scenes meant for their sex only. Tribbing is or isn't a real thing depending on what wlw you ask. And it certainly isn't done the way it looks in Peebee/Sara's scene. They got lazy and just replaced the model of Scott with Sara. That's what I said.

In my head cannon there was a lot of things that got researched and developed that were not weapons or armor to make those scene work! But being your typical straight male, give me two naked women rolling around doing anything at all and I am happy. I can certainly see why those scenes would be a huge disappointment to people with more invested in them then my, ' woo! I saw Sara and Peebees boobies!!! That's because this game is for straight men. As a straight woman, I got the best ever with Jaal's romance and I am ever so grateful for how it was done. Jaal's was great, and don't get me wrong, I loved it. But I am a selfish woman and demand as many options as men, especially since straight women got so fucked over in ME3. I want more Liam and Reyes stuff. And a new turian boyfriend I can share with gay men.

It's a really sad day... i thiught it kinda would look like that but that's because I've never seen the Scott version or seen it I just read about it... It's literally the same as Scott's scene but with Sara in his place. Extra details, NSFW in spoilers Peebee might be getting something from it from grinding her clit down, but at that angle, sara wouldn't, but that's just from my personal experience.

I have mixed feelings on the romances. On the one hand, I think my options (as in the actual characters) are great. I love both Liam and Reyes, and enjoyed their respective romances, and while Jaal doesn't appeal to me as much I still like him and will romance him my next playthrough. That's definitely a switch up from the usual Bioware game (with DAI as the exception where I like Cullen and Solas equally) where there's maybe one I like and the others I have little to no interest in. I also like that all three are really different - both in types of characters and types of relationships.
Liam's romance was sweet and developed in a realistic way, and both the couch and jetpack scenes were nice. Reyes was a lot of fun and I loved the chemistry he had with my Ryder. Both were refreshingly devoid of melodrama and tragic pasts and such (though with Reyes you have the option for an unhappy ending it's fortunately that - an option, rather than something forced on you because drama).
That said, I found them a bit... underwhelming. Especially with all the hype about more romances than ever, deeper relationships, and #PrettyGoodBanging. With Liam there was this long stretch where I wondered if I'd messed up his romance because the game barely acknowledges the fact. It's better when you finally lock it in, but even then I got almost no dialogue from the crew in regards to it. Certain scenes that should have had an emotional impact where him as an LI should've mattered didn't. It just felt... I don't know. Incomplete? With Reyes it's an issue of pacing. I was able to stretch out the Kadara plot my second playthrough because I knew to do that, but you can literally speed through Reyes' quests and get the entire romance in one go. And then get absolutely nothing until the end of the game dozens of hours later. It would've been nice to get at least a couple more e-mails, or maybe some dialogue from him reacting to the main quest as you go through it, with variations specific to a romanced Ryder. Maybe a scene where he takes you to some cool place on Kadara on a date like Liam does on Eos? Though unlike with Liam at least the crew reacts to the relationship, which is nice.
As for the romance-specific scenes... well, let's just say if there's 'Pretty Good Banging' in this game I sure as hell didn't see it. Neither Reyes or Liam got Cora or PeeBee levels of quality or detail. Not even close. Even Kaidan in ME1 was better. Frankly I'm even good with a fade-to-black when it comes to actual sex, but... in this case even the kisses were brief and lackluster. I had high expectations after seeing Cora's in the trailer but... with both Reyes and Liam it's the typical barbie doll face-mashing with kissy noises. Apparently Jaal is better? Weird seeing how they picked him to have the explicit scene rather than one of the two good-looking human guys, but, I guess at least it's something?
It's just hard not to feel a bit resentful at the fact that straight Scott's romances clearly were the priority - both in the number of options and the quality of scenes (and apparently reactions from the crew too). Especially after straight Sheploo was the clear winner in that regard in the trilogy as well. I was really hoping that with MEA being a fresh start for the series in so many ways this dead horse could be buried once and for all. But it doesn't look like the team has learned much in this regard. And I won't get started on the m/m fiasco, as I'll leave it to the actual gay guys to speak to that.
So yeah, while I feel the romances overall were an improvement over the trilogy (especially since we needed the whole trilogy for those romances to feel developed), DAI did them a lot better.

fialka the pretty good banging is Jaal's romance, not Liam's. Straight females were blessed with Jaal or we'd have nothing. And if you don't like aliens? You get no pretty good banging.

So far I've only romanced Cora and Peebee (as Sara) and I quite enjoyed both of them. Vetra is pretty sweet too. It's very much sex-free image-wise, but you know they do have sex. Liam is also a non-detailed sex scene, but it's also decent like Vetra's. Jaal's is... too much. It's a romance novel and a slow burn that ends in an explicit love scene. I think besides Jaal, it's Vetra I enjoy a lot. Haha I like Jaal's design actually.

I haven't romanced her, but my Sara did have a no strings attached fling that was so damn cute! Vertra is 100% wife material lol

Yeah, it's not that I don't like aliens - and I still think Jaal is really pretty and love his design. It's just, after playing the game, his personality just doesn't appeal to me in that way as much as I'd hoped , you know? I was actually thinking he'd more more like Evfra - I'd be all over that cranky bastard if they'd let me be. Where Liam and Reyes I ended up feeling drawn to far more than I expected. I just wish things were more evenly distributed, is all. Again, I'm good with a fade to black - but I don't think it's too much to ask for a decently animated makeout scene? Clearly from seeing what they did with Cora and to a lesser extent PeeBee (with Scott anyway), it's not from a lack of capability. It just feels like they didn't care as much with the others and that sucks. Well, except for with Jaal - which I get that he's a dev favorite and the most plot relevant, but he's very alien and his romance isn't going to be for everyone. So it would've been nice for the other options to not feel like an afterthought in comparison.

It seems him and Cora were worked on a lot, but PeeBee? That was great until you find out Sara's model swapped with Scott makes Sara looked equipped male-wise. I also noticed that in the launch trailers it's Cora, PeeBee and Jaal we see for the Ryder romances. The 3 that were worked on the most.

So far I've only romanced Cora and Peebee (as Sara) and I quite enjoyed both of them. Cora is straight, far as I know. You got her to romance you as Sara? Anyway, as a straight male, I find myself always playing the female. For me it's something about immersion, playing what I am not and trying to figure out what she would do instead of projecting myself into the male. On the same lines, I mostly went with the straight - or pseudo straight Asari romances. It's a general problem of the ME series that you had less options for the female character. At least not very appealing ones. In DA:I I found myself romancing Cullen and at one time the Bull. Both seemed appealing to my character. In Andromeda the ME dilemma is continued. Liam, not appealing at all, Jaal, nice, but also not someone who appeals that much. I ended up with Peebee. For me, apart from Drak, she's also the most interesting character of the whole crew. Oh yes, and Reyes. He's also pretty interesting. If I hadn't been already commited to Peebee, I would have romanced him.
