Origins looks cool. the way stats for the items were shown reminded me of The Witcher 3. also the comment section for the youtube video was entertaining as expected.

It has my attention, though I'm not sure how I feel about that player controlled arrow at the end. Or the weird basilisk thing at the end of the trailer.
Not like Assassin's Creed doesn't have its share of weird fantasy elements, obviously, but still.

Glad I completed Black Flag again yesterday so I've kinda gotten the interest back for AC. What was shown on the MS conference absolutely grabbed my interest so I'm looking forward to what will be shown at Ubisofts. Going to Egypt is certainly going to be an awesome and fun experience

I didn't buy Assassin's Creed Unity at launch because I was otherwise engaged with Dragon Age Inquisition. (probably no bad thing) I enjoyed Syndicate and I am looking forward to this one, however, the debate becomes: - Oct 10th: Shadow of War, OR

I'm pretty damn impressed. I can tell the patent Ubi filler will still play a role, but they're emphasizing hand crafted quests more this time around. The RPG elements seem to be more than enough for a game of this type. And combat looks way better in this game. It has a sense of immediacy and impact to it that I've always felt was lacking.

I haven't played AC since they left the Holy Land and Middle Age scenario. I didn't like the other games though I'm very interested in ancient Egypt so I'll might try but not on release. The only thing I really didn't like was how they kept bringing you back to the modern times with the machine that bring you back the memories. THAT broke my immersion every single time. I wish they would get rid of that.

I've always loved the AC games, all of them except Black Flag and this is why it worries me that this game is taking after that one, I don't get that, it was the worst one in the series imo. All the other AC games were awesome, at least in my opinion but black flag was a stand alone weird thing which didn't really belong there, I don't understand why they're making another game just like it. I still plan on getting it cause it's still an AC game but I won't be so excited about it like with the rest.

I'm thrilled it has an arena mode.
And an interview with the game director.
Some tidbits:
-you can buy a variety of horses and camels.
-you can wield your weapon underwater to fight crocks and hippos.
-you can make traps.
-each weapon types has it's own move set, and there's dual wielding.
-multiple protagonists will be playable.
-quests can be handled in different ways.
-mounted combat with both bow and melee.
-hunt and use animal parts for crafting.
-combos, special attacks during combat and will have boss battles.
