I need to spend more time analysing the mastery stuff, I was pushed for time when I did it and I need to revisit my whole set-up. I like poison and I have gear set up for that but think I may change back to flame as I am still not feeling god like enough. My only problem with flame mastery is accidentally setting myself on fire LOL. I have the bow of Hades, so that'll help but what gear are you running? I'd really like to use one of the full legendary sets but I hate losing those extra slots on epic gear. For a fire based set I used the Agamemnon gear and found it to be quite serviceable. The Demigod set is probably still the best overall Warrior Legendary set, but I do get a kick of the 100 % burning rate and the extra burn time the Agamemnon set provides. You can just shoot enemies from afar to set them on fire and watch, they'll burn for ages and will take massive damage. Also Hades bow/Prometheus Sika for weapons plus whatever third one I feel like, usually something for Warriors. I slot Fire damage/Sword Damage/Crit with Full HP/Crit damage with full HP. For passives I put points mainly toward Fire damage and Sword damage. Thanks for that. Hey I just completed the Blind King quest he mentioned treasure on Salamis but I didn't get a quest in the quest log or a marker. Is it possible I cleared it already?

I wonder where the next setting of AC will be. Would it be Rome? Or jump Rome since it's pretty popular in historical setting games and go to Constantinople? Perhaps the Mongols?

I have been hopeless at guessing where the next game will be . We need Element Zero to come back online, he's been very good at figuring it out. In all honesty I am bit confused how they take the game forward from Odyssey from a continuity perspective.

The leak that came out 3 years ago claimed the next 3 games after Syndicate will be in Egypt-Greece-Rome. So far 2 for 2.

If Rome and a female protag is a choice, I doubt she'll be upfront like Kass; mercenary. I think she'll be more in the domestic setting and an assassin by night which would be in keeping with AC if she's a Roman. If a outright mercenary, then she'll be a barbarian.

Doubt it'll be anything starting with "Me". They didn't heal people back then, they were midwives and nurses. They could own taverns, work as waitresses, be a baker, a cook, own and manage property if they're wealthy. The one role that's extremely unlikely is the Vestal Virgin. The other end of the scale is a sex worker which is even more unlikely. It's probable the devs will fall back to a male protag for the next one.

If the franchise doesn't end before, one day they'll run out of countries and do one AC in Japan.

So just to continue the story of my nephew. I tried him on Dishonored 2. I could die laughing. He's pretty stolid with AC Odyssey because his idea of battle is frantic clicking of the mouse. This is what DOTA players do all the time; click 10 x 100 per minute to direct the avatar and throwing whatever bing-bang-booms on the opposition. So his clicking just happened to suit, sort of, when any sword fight (without abilities) happened in AC Odyssey. Come to Dishonored II, it's a different story. He's ok with first person but his idea of fighting is a nutty run-in-a-circle-swinging-my-sword-hoping-it-connects. When it came to sneaking, he was actually craning his neck to the left / right. I told him leaning his body in RL wasn't going to do anything. After the session, he said it was an intense experience. I'm going to throw him at the isometric games and see what he makes of them.

Goddamn the fire is fucking brutal on easy. Its also bloody hysterical in general, I took down six soldiers yesterday just with fire arrows and they never laid a blow on me as they were too busy running around and screaming, "It Burns" or "F%*ck" put it out, put it out" and I am not even spec'd for fire. <iframe width="23.96" height="2.73999999999999" id="MoatPxIOPT0_65337500" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 15px; top: -5px; width: 23.96px; height: 2.74px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="23.96" height="2.73999999999999" id="MoatPxIOPT0_48483931" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 1138px; top: -5px; width: 23.96px; height: 2.74px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="23.96" height="2.73999999999999" id="MoatPxIOPT0_5227725" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 15px; top: 78px; width: 23.96px; height: 2.74px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="23.96" height="2.73999999999999" id="MoatPxIOPT0_50576183" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 1138px; top: 78px; width: 23.96px; height: 2.74px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe>

Quick question for you AC aficionados:
How are the Syndicate DLCs? I am trying to decide whether I should get just the main game or the gold edition (which is double the price!!!). Are those DLCs really worth 15 bucks?

Mmmmmmm I am not sure, Syndicate was my least favourite AC game BUT the Jack The Ripper DLC was pretty good in my opinion but I have discussed with some that didn't like it. The Darwin and Dickens stuff is OK and I barely remember the Maharaja one and Dreadful Crimes was OK. Sorry that probably didn't help!!!!

Andrew Waples yeah there are a few of those mercenaries and its easy not to notice that all of a sudden you are near death. I sneak up on mercs, try to assassinate them (and it works sometimes) and then run because you never know if they have fire. Soldiers running towards a comrade on fire, end up on fire themselves. It just gets a bigger mess with my fire arrows and a group of guys all running towards each other.

Next PT going to spec for fire and stick with it, LOL My most effective attack on Merc's is to hide or be on a roof and take then down with devastating shots, some I kill in two shots.

This is a pretty good vid on visual settings for games.
The inclination to go ultra is high especially when you have the rig for it but going for high / very high settings, I found, is good enough.
