Unlike DAO and DA2 where the ending causes credits to roll and that's it, DAI the credits roll and then your character will pop up again in Skyhold. People will be all in their usual spots and be all like, "yay, The main bad guy is dead!"

You are then free to:
A. do all the little side quests that had nothing to do with defeating the main bad guy.
B. Start and finish "The Descent" and "Jaws of HAkkon" DLC
C. Skip A and B and go straight to "The Trespasser" DLC.

But Trespasser has a time jump and a new base of operations. So I usually walk around Skyhold and say goodbye to my Castle. When you finish Trespasser, you get a Credits Roll and you are finally and truly done. No more popping up in Skyhold unless you load a prior save or start a whole new game.

Some people argue that Trespasser isn't so much an epilogue but the ending to the base game they ran out of time for.

I have a Lavellan, and I headcanon no name change for either so it wouldn't make sense for Cullen to take Lavellan's name, and my Lavellan is very proud of his heritage.

My game is so heavily modded it wheezes as I play Do you need help modding?

Oh that's good to know. After Cullen romance game there is no way I'll be able to feel the same amount of attachment for another character as I do for Cullen. That's why I'm plotting to make a Qunari mage next for the Bull romance for lulz. And I want to flirt with Vivi all I want. I can't seem to manage to click on hearts for others when I'm romancing Cullen.

My game is heavily modded too, mostly due to appearence mod. Once got those hair and jammy mods installed, can't seem to go back to vanilla trololol..

Was mainly asking if anyone here can make a mod would like to make a request

Ahh, hmmmmm, I see. *finger to chin* Tbh, and I'm no modder, but -- I'm not sure that would be possible? The mods that have been created so far mostly include retextures (notice that there are no NEW armors or weapons), unlocking/un-gating romances, and god-mode type stuff.

And having the stuff appear at a certain point seems even more of a headache. So, I wouldn't get my hopes up

And -- SAME!! Dalish origin is my favorite, not that I've plaid DAO that much. But the Dalish are my favorite "group." And after I got being an archer out of my system, I started SEVERAL Dalish mages. I feel I can play a much more worldly character with a mage as opposed to a hunter. My hunters tend to be more naive, aloof, and wary of outsiders. I envision a mage as more of a scholar (though not necessarily a nerd).

Vivi not interested at all? Whelp... I'd have to flirt with Harding too and some of those not romance but can joke around with options. btw I'm soooo bummed we cannot flirt with Captain Rhyes? My bad with names. Cullen's friend you leave in charge of Griffin Fort. That guy is hilarious. She's going to be opposite of the current Inky and flirt with all those npcs.

Well, you can always get pixel boobies to romance Blackwall. ;D Of course when you have both your Inky and Blackwall it's better since (part of the reason I like slash) two guys are better too oogle at than one.

I find the longer the game, the more time I have to forget the beginning. However, I have this ever persistent habit of starting new characters I keep needing to resist. Somehow in DAO it's easier to avoid this booby trap.

Of course I won't leave Cullen alone either. It would be interesting to see him tell my Inky no thanks. I think ALL my Inquisitors will be clicking heart options on him and Buuuuhrrrnnnn. ;D

close2myheart Who says our Inky is the only one who can do the recruitment. Blondie locks are highly effective too.

Oh, like I said earlier, I do currently have a Blackwall romance with a Cadash going on Female characters are usually harder for me to play I guess do to my own personal discomforts about gender (I'm 37 so it's hard for me to use those new-fangled terms lmao but I guess I am what you'd call agender) so in video games I like to escape and play the person I "feel" inside, which is technically impossible since genderless characters don't exist, but playing a male elf comes close to my happy fantasy version of myself, so it's such a joy to get to play as one. I never both with any other type if I can play a male elf (e.g. Skyrim). The other alternative is a very masculine female, which I have done in DAI, with my Cadash, who has a mohawk and could murder you xD and I also have a qunari who I never finished because, again, the game is just too looooong for me to play a character I only "sort of" feel comfortable playing. If Cassandra had been available it'd have been different, but as it is I don't feel any pull towards Sera or Josie. DA2 was such a good length, even though I didn't relate to either Hawke all that well, I loved the romances and the game was short, so I ended up playing all genders and all romances (but only s/s romances, both male and female since m/f tends to make me the most uncomfortable).

I get wanting to ogle characters but once again I'm a weirdo freak and probably on the... ugh, here's me using a youngster term again... on the ace spectrum somewhere, so as you can imagine, I loved the solavellan modded romance as I played an asexual Lavellan and just GAHHH the feels, man, the feels!!! But I can easily, EASILY play a sexual romance (e.g. Cullavellan) if it's based in romance and affection and trust.

yes. IF you're still single and use all the flirt opportunities. I'm not entirely certain exactly when the date request comes through. She's on my list of romances to do. Unlike Bull (  )
