Maker's Breath.... (Official Cullen Rutherford discussion)

Pretty sure you need to have the soft-lock on Cullen's romance triggered (which I think is the first kiss) before WEWH to get the dance with him. 

While doing Sera's pranks, there's a dialogue choice/comment when pranking Cullen that changes based on if you've had sex yet or not. Has no impact on the actual romance, but I think it's more fun to save the pranks for after the scene.

That's actually a good question, and one I'm curious to the answer of as well for future playthroughs. It hasn't been an issue for me yet, but it might be down the road. I honestly don't know if you can hold off on the pranks if it has already been triggered. If you do the pranks now, it's not a big deal. You'll only be missing a 3 word line from the Inquisitor.

Skyhold bartender: Some people are complaining that you have the time to be bedding your allies. But I don't judge. Much.

Did the order to seize the Winter Palace in Trespasser come from Cullen? Or did that cocky soldier do that on his own?

as I recall after the 1st trip to the CRs, Cullen just mentioned he would have a word with their guard. No word from others. Later Josie only angry about "you siezed the WP, hid the bodies". I.E. the order comes from Cullen who is responsable for military (when Josie is angry Cullen even tells "We did what was right, not politically convenient"). So, blame on Cullen for bringing more Inquisition soldiers as well as Leliana for spies.

Do you think it is a bad thing that Cullen rarely is ever mentioned or discussed by fans outside the subject of romance?

Which is better to romance Cullen: Mage Elf or Mage Human?

You get more dialogue options playing an Elf in every scenario so there is that. But Cullen is definitely got a marry and kids vibe, so how your elf feels about not having elven babies should be a consideration in RPing an elf. If you don't think you can enjoy RPing and elf that has human kids,then drop that baggage and go human mage

I think he already explains the roller coaster ride of how he came about to the position he's currently at. I like the idea of the Warden being a mage he had a crush on. When he finally breaks loose of the hate, he'd probably fall back on the memories of why he would have had such a crush in the first place. He was wound super tight in DA2, and think he was more affected by Meredith and her practices more than who Hawke sided with. But a Hawke that sided mages does mean he didn't stop Hawke's flight from the battle, showing, perhaps, the first true crack in his return to a more reasonable state of mind.

So mage Warden; Mages can't be all bad, that oen I had a crush on and then saved my family from the Blight?
MAge siding Hawke; why did I let Hawke flee? I must look inside my mind.
