hahaha on the plus side that would put us ahead of the Mass Effect timeline

They already want to start colonies on other planets and have been digging around Andromeda, so I will not be surprised if that happens.

Yeah with Trump in charge of the USA humanity's chances of First Contact going smoothly went from 'Hopeful' to "we're fucked!!!"

I know that's what scares me. As to the later tbh I liked them all but I'd have to say SG-1 then Atlantis And Sgu tied for second place. I thought SGU was a lot better than given credit for.

I'd be the first in line for a ticket. Upon arrival I'd immediately apply for Citizenship with the Angara, and hopefully not have to wait long to kiss the Human species (and Humanity in general) goodbye.

Humanity has always looked to the stars. Its just recently we got a bit of that spark for space travel again. It was a shame that the whole "space-race" basically stopped once we actually got to the moon, imagine if space development never lost the stopped it had back then.
