Would you actually join something like the Andromeda Initiative if it was real?

Considering that the game leaves strong impression that only most incompetent, stupid, and retarded were sent to Andromeda, people who cant lift their finger without a pathfinder mystical space-jesus figure, I think I'd rather pass.

Also considering how much of the milky way is unexplored in ME universe, I can hardly see a reason for expedition into another galaxy except for the reasons described above.

I am way too lazy for that, Even when someone tells me they want to travel with me at a house that is at one hour of travel I already know I will hate that.

So if the initiative happened I would stay in my confortable house in the milky way... and I would be among the first to get killed in the reaper war.

The only way I could join the initiaitve is if I believe that the reapers were coming.

I'd love to leave everything behind, my life is boring, dull and mundane and there is no real adventure left in this world.
No new lands to discover, no greater cause, nothing, its just taxes, mundane work and some free time to waste with meaningless bullshit. Hooray.

Yes, IF they had better planning, leaders, and contingencies. Waking important people *just* before reaching the destination is always a bad idea. They should have had a skeleton crew wake up 2-5 years before arrival, a full crew complement awake at least 1 year before arrival, and support crew waking up 1-6 months before arrival.

I quite like my life... But honestly, it sounds fun. And I've got a bit of survival/ construction experience IRL anyway, so I'd be useful. Helllllll yes. I can even make bread and, given some experimentation, beer out of pretty much any edible plant. I won't say I've been training my whole life for something like this.... It really depends on various factors.

Here I am no one. 26, no job or worthy education, no achievements ,no bright future ahead of me.Just basic every day survival and general average-ness until I die.So why not contribute to something bigger like colonization of another planet/system/galaxy?
