How is it even possible to have a disagreement here? As anyone can see in the picture, they're the same face model. So you've either seen the picture (or played the game), or you haven't- agreement or disagreement really aren't in it. You're forgetting that these people live in a Scientology like bubble whereby all other forms of disparaging comments are relegated to the world of the haters and fuzzy trolls. While they can go off and live in their la la land and play with the four other people that like the game. *bumps hand against chest and points* Bet you that you think I forgot about you. I didn't numero cinco. You're just like them, Earth clan. You're salty enough to kill the Kahje clan. It's sad and funny, but kind of annoying too. Maybe you're poor. Poor people tend to be bitter when others like what they hate. I could point you in the direction of a good recruiter. You're no turian, but I'm sure you'd do fine.

I actually compared Morda and Kesh. Pretty sure they also look the same but with different markings on their faces. Not sure how that stacks up against other female krogan. Other than humans, every race has the one mesh for all of their male characters, and one for all of their female characters. There's really no variety to any of them.

I'm going to assume that it's a wash for this game. Maybe we'll get some new meshes in dlc, but I doubt it will impact existing characters. Perhaps MEA2, should it come, will correct these problems.

Keshs boyfriend, can't remember his name, seems to look differently. Maybe it's only the eyes, but he's got a cute look about him. A look I didn't find on any other Krogan.

Yes, he does seem pretty different, but it may be his behavior and weird positions (on the ground, legs spread wide, like we've never seen a krogan) allow us to overlook it. However, I believe someone said all the male krogan have the same mesh and I assume the OP knew that from looking at the actual files.

He's got these dark button eyes we tend to associate with Teddy bears. That may be all there is to him, but it makes all the difference.

I think Drack might actually have his own mesh, now that I look at them in detail. I would need a third krogan to check, but Drack and Vorn definitely have different head meshes.

lol Right, we're all doing a big circle jerk. Okay, if that's what you wanna think. Hey, fine by me. Just know that I'm on some boards where the title of the thread is, "Mass Effect : Andromeda : Autism reaches outer space". Where people are saying that this game isn't even worth torrenting. But yah, live in your own little bubble. The real question is why you're so bothered that other people like the game. It's as though it's a personal insult to you. People have different tastes. I like the game. I don't love it. It's last place of the four ME games that have been put out. I see the asari issue as pretty major when it comes to characters you deal with a good amount (pathfinders, doctor and reporter). I also see plenty of other flaws. I just don't invest my hatred in it because...why? At the end of the day, I'm content rather than frustrated. I'm not doing a "circle jerk" about how much I love MEA. I like it, not love it, but apparently you won't be satisfied until you let everyone who enjoyed the game feel like assholes for daring to like something you don't. Or did I get that wrong? As of now, I know that this game is a dumpster fire, at IMO. At least in the majority of people's opinions. If you wanna enjoy the game, you can. Just admit that there are some serious flaws with it. I'm simply laughing as I go, playing FO4 in the meantime. I'm sorry that you can't see that, or didn't I put up lol in bright and flashy enough letters?

Or, like one other person said regarding the asari in particular, it's just something that doesn't bother her so much. And, really, who cares? If she's not bothered, more power to her. It means she's not suffering while some of us are.

Well some do have have different clothing and tats, so we can probably safely say that the cost-cutting was not as bad as TW1.

I don't think it's laziness. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, the Asari clone issue is so obvious that there's only 2 possibilities to explain this. Either the producers were incompetent (they never bothered to take a look at their product, test it out), or they DECIDED that this was OK.
I believe it was the latter. They decided that the time/cost of making different Asari faces (same with Angaran and other aliens too) was not worth it, even though in all 3 MET, they had distinct faces. And they had FIVE freaking years!
And this explains why MEA is just an OK game. Not terrible, not great, just OK - like a 75% rating. Unlike 90+% ratings for the previous 3 games.
For a big ME fan like me, this is VERY disappointing - a great franchise descending into mediocrity.

That's true, but I admit I've only done two complete playthroughs and a partial third. In that same time I've done two full runs of ME1 and am now into ME2. I'm waiting for a romance fix before I'm interested in more MEA. Or maybe even a dlc.

I've played shit games before. One particular one that comes to mind is Duke Nukem Forever. Horribly buggy, sometimes way too hard, shit AI horribly stupid dialogue, but also a shit ton of fun. Point being games can have issues sometimes glaring ones and still be one hell of a blast.

I'm waiting for a romance fix before I'm interested in more MEA. Or maybe even a dlc. Yeah idk why but I've had a blast with MEA despite the flaws. Good. I'm glad. I actually love Ryder as a character. I've only played Scott but his flippant attitude is something I really like in the same way that I loved the stoic Shepard. I love Drack. Peebee is decent but I can see the complaints people have about how the game treats her actions. Ditto with Liam. Lexi is nice, especially in the way to she really cares about Drack (a crush) and you (a patient she wants to see live). I enjoy Vetra a lot. I also like Cora. Almost romanced her except that it doesn't really fit my style. I'm pretty "meh" on Jaal. I like Suvi and Kallo quite a bit. Thinking about a Sara pt just to romance Suvi. I adore Gil, and I tend to romance him, but hate his romance. It's actually incredibly terribly done. Also, very short (19 minutes vs over an hour for Peebee). Anyway, I'd like to see improvements in certain areas before I can fall in love with this game. It could happen with dlc or in a patch of some sort. Or it might never happen. I'm willing to wait and see. I say this because by the time I played the OT, ME3 had already been out for four years. That meant all three games had all their patches and dlc to give me a gaming experience that just isn't possible yet for MEA. MEA1 may never been the best game ever, but as part of a trilogy it might be viewed in a better light.

We didn't do that. Let's put a five person team of interns on bug fixes, another thirty on DLC's to salvage as much as we can from this, and forget that this ever happened."

It's really that simple. I'll give you my own example since I won't speak for anyone else. I'm really good with faces. So, it's always bothered me, the repetitious faces in RPG's. The lacking variability in the asari is just slightly more irritating for something that's always been an irritant. It's a world of varying tastes and opinions, folks. Just the way it is. No,this is not about personal preference/opinion.........it's about Bioware's complete lack of creativity and effort. Characters are basic tools for driving narration/story........no one would cast an actor to play 12 roles in a movie. Back in the day's of Mass Effect3 multiplayer, you could change the colour of your Asari character and markings.........in Andromeda,it seems like they used the same multiplayer character creator system to produce ACTUAL main characters in game..........and this I believe is the real reason why all the races look the same..........characters are just ports from multi-player character creation. If this is true, then it's a new low for story driven games.

I just explained to you my tastes, there's nothing you can say that changes how I view the game. If you don't like it, fine. But, what folks are looking for in a game (and how melodramatic they get about it when they don't get what they want) is up to the individual.

Lol. The BSN is hardly representative of the larger gaming community. More straw manning. I made an argument about the forum opinions. That's it, because that addressed the context of the person I was quoting. If you want to argue or debate whatever it is you're talking about, go for it. On that particular topic, from what I've heard even the general average of reviews isn't that it's trash... it's like at 75% or something. *shrug* Strawmanning? You present a big list of threads from this forum as your argument. I present a potentially much larger list of opposite threads from these very same forums, and you cry strawmanning. Lol. Revisit that term. Also, 75% is a C. It is not a good score in any possible world.

Reusable Assets
Coming up to the Turian Ark quest and have noticed the same faces in multiple quests (supposedly different NPCs,). Dr. Lexie must have cloned herself and others while everyone else was asleep during the voyage (I guess)..
Anyone else noticed similar cave layouts in Kandara?

As I said, there's a reason why people home in on Asaris. They look like humans. So it's more obvious since we are used to look at human faces as opposed to the other races. It really got nothing to do with tastes but with our nature to notice there being no defining features in human faces. I also noticed that I ran into that scavenger guy on Eos on numerous occasions without it actually being him but an entirely different generic NPC. He's already in the Cryo bay when waking up. For the first time. There a numerous occasions to see that face model again. It is a matter of tastes, with regard to how much it bothers one to see repetitive faces. I haven't made an argument that they're not repetitive. -(_MEA_)-
Aah.. but tastes do matter.
Look at the game's warm reception and subsequent icing because sales targets were not met.

I actually compared Morda and Kesh. Pretty sure they also look the same but with different markings on their faces. Not sure how that stacks up against other female krogan. Other than humans, every race has the one mesh for all of their male characters, and one for all of their female characters. There's really no variety to any of them. -(_MEA_)-
Noticed that too. No variations except for the colour of their clothing.
Time, money and resources were spent on background/map/level scenery for the "exploration" part of the game. Done well too.... Unfortunately, mgt stole from Peter to pay Paul and it shows.
Pity.

If you go by school grades sure but that's not how this works.

Ah this again. You have no solid proof of that.
