I'm glad you at least realize complaining about bugs, when you clearly meant facial animations is like talking about apples and oranges. You play FO4, but you complain about bugs in Mass Effect Andromeda being the worst game you played on release.... Are you sure, you are okay? I mean bugs when I said bugs. As in, things that make the game unplayable. I am not being a drama queen. You continue to refuse to acknowledge there are a substantial number of them just because you didn't experience them. This is simply not true. I'd also love it if you pointed out to me where I said it was the worst game I played on release? Because I'm pretty sure I have not, and never have, said that. I love threads like this. I go away for a few hours, come back, and have a million likes. Sigh. The problem is that everyone is not getting the same game breaking bugs. It would behoove people on here to be tolerant of others who are having a worse gaming experience than they are.

Pls give me the link to that conversation since I missed it. Where did I say that you didn't mean bugs, when you say bugs? I think I'm missing a lot of conversation that never happened. Fact is: In no way shape or form did I say that there aren't bugs in the game. Should I give you a like now that your opinion is correct, when you clearly make absolutely no sense?

What does the bolded part mean? I think I know but I'd like clarification. I love Bioware and love Mass Effect, but the criticism was well deserved. I waited 5 years for a broken game. I have literally never played anything as buggy as MEA was at launch. Then let me assure you, I have played way more buggy and unplayable games and some of them are RPG Cult Classics. ME:A is a good game, with a couple of bugs. Most of you are drama queens. There you go. Yay for people dismissing valid concerns because THEY weren't affected by the bugs! Let's see. I've had about 8 missions I've had to restart due to bugs that prevent me from continuing. I've had my entire save folder deleted, and had to use a 3rd party program do a deepscan to recover ONE, which happened to be 3 hours past. I've had a dozen quests unfinishable because the final objective either never spawns, never becomes interactable, or doesn't get marked as complete. I've had the bug where no weapons or augments drop between level 61-71. I've gotten stuck about a million times. There's also the numerous people who can't enter or exit the Nexus for some strange reason (see the EA help thread. It's very extensive and weird). Maybe you start reading, before answering. It's a great thing.I'd like clarification on this as well. Which part did I not read?

This is a lie. That's why I tell people like you to read. Savegame issue? Is an Origin issue, why would you want BW to fix Origin? The rest is correct, you jumped into a conversation and then try to sound like I wrote with you. MA:E is not a special snowflake. I have not a single BW game without gamebreaking bugs. It is sad, but Obsidian is even worse with their games. Bethesda? They don't produce games, they produce bug fiestas. So when someone writes ME:A is the worst buggiest game on release ever I will also call that out as a flatout lie. Does ME:A have bugs? YES IT DOES. Is that clear enough for the 3-4 people who continue to spread false information about what I wrote? I give you a like now, because that means absolutely nothing. tbh

Oh for the love of pete. Okay, this is probably polishing, rather than a bug. But if you can't draw your weapon in a "safe" area, you shouldn't be able to get attacked by wildlife in them.

You said MEA has a couple of bugs and people were being drama queens. I gave you specific examples of it being otherwise, and you're saying that I both didn't read what you wrote, and that I'm spreading false information. That's really impressive.
Also, good job on missing the absolute sarcasm about the likes. *eyeroll*
This conversation is stupid. You're trying to nitpick my response when you're absolutely wrong about MEA only having a couple bugs and people being drama queens. That's practically a dictionary definition of dismissing concerns.
Did you work on Mass Effect? Do you know if it was an Origin or Mass Effect issue? No? Well then. Maybe stop spreading false information.

I give you a like now, because that means absolutely nothing. tbh Please find a source that's an EA or Bioware dev saying that R'Shara's problem with the save files deleting themselves are caused by Origin and Origin alone. And even if that is true, Origin is EA and this thread is saying that EA should be given slack as well - it's in the thread title itself. Origin problems are EA problems and right to be included in decisions on whether or not to give EA slack. Maybe next time don't call those who rightfully post about them drama queens in a thread where no one is acting as such and you won't be misinterpreted as dismissing their claims. But that's my take on the situation.

Did you work on Mass Effect? Do you know if it was an Origin or Mass Effect issue? No? Well then. Maybe stop spreading false information. You wrote I experienced NO bugs, which is imo untrue. I would be happy to drop it, but I think it's kind of sad that you can't even say: Sorry I didn't mean it that way. And it's not just you, it's 3-4 people who say... "oh you didn't have any bugs, so what you say doesn't matter to me." this is equally dismissive. I'm sorry when you thought I was dismissive, but I really know what kind of bugs the game has. Savegames: I know this, because Origin deleted my Sims 3 Savegames. Origin does this weird Sync thing with the games. You can dismiss it all you want, I don't really care. Just saying: if you encounter that problem, don't wait for the Patch that will "fix" it from BW. Never going to happen. Of course this conversation is stupid, because the people who are outraged don't even know what classifies as a bug. And suddenly you make everything a bug. To make it 100 undoubtedly clear to you, because you simply don't want to get it: I had bugs, I had crashes, which are not bugs. When a conversation starts, I had animals attack me, where I had to skip the conversation to not get murdered. That's also not a bug. That is just poor design. If we could stop saying everything is a bug. What is YOUR issue, with me saying the game has a couple of bugs? I think the issue here is that I'm not over-dramatizing the number of bugs the game has, compared to any other release from other RPG companies. It's not bug free, but it's not the worst bug ridden game of all time. And I will stand with that opinion.

On EA answers MEA is 3rd on most "Bug Reports" topic numbers the first 2 are FIFA16 and SW Battlefront, games launched in 2015, there seriously a lot wrong with this game technically. There is no excuse for the state of this game...

Yeah, no. Not going to cut Bioware/EA some slack at all. I paid money for their product and I expect it to be a very good product and I do not give a damn if you disagree with my standards.
That is how the business model works. You put out "QUALITY" and your reputation soars and people shower you with cash. You put out sub-par quality and you get criticized, your reputation suffers, word gets around and eventually you lose business because of it. You couple this with gender politics and you a very bad combination that's inevitably going to explode in your face.
Bioware went from a top quality wine-and-dine establishment to a damn used-car selling company.
It has reached the point where people are suspicious of every sales pitch that Bioware does concerning their product/sequels; "Am I getting the product that was advertised or is there some sort of bait-and-switch thing going on?"
That should be all the indication one needs just how far this thing went down a hole.

If you don't want to believe that, that's absolutely fine. So the issue is the word Drama Queen? Oh for the love of everything. How can you all be so angry about that. FFS. I apologize for Drama Queen. I didn't think in the age of twitter that was such a bad word.

It's not bug free, but it's not the worst bug ridden game of all time. And I will stand with that opinion. Oh? So because it happened in Sims 3 due to an Origin issue, the problem is the same here? You can't say that for sure. Because let's be honest here. Sims 3 is a very buggy game on its best day. You look at a save wrong in that game and it goes corrupt. You have to mod it to have a high chance at having a stable game and even that's not a guarantee. And I'm a Sims 3 player myself who's just finishing up a hiatus with Sims 3 due to Sims 3 corrupting a save (I crash if I enter build/buy mode in one save). It could have been due to how Origin's sync interacted with the Sims 3 save system. Given that it has happened in previous titles, does give evidence that the problem may be the same, but it could just be unfortunate coincidence that an Origin problem is the same as a ME:A problem.

Like I said, if you don't want to believe I mailed with EA about the issue. That's fine. I didn't think one word would make everyone get so extremely hostile all of the sudden. "We will dismiss this claim"

It goes both ways. True. You're a shill if you don't have problems, suffering from hysteria if you do. Then again, it is the Internet so I'm not sure if that is all that far out of the norm... image upload api

Please find a source that's an EA or Bioware dev saying that R'Shara's problem with the save files deleting themselves are caused by Origin and Origin alone. Only because I had the issue and talked to EA, with the Sims.. So the issue is the word Drama Queen? Oh for the love of everything. How can you all be so angry about that. FFS. I apologize for Drama Queen. I didn't think in the age of twitter that was such a bad word. You talked to EA about R'Shara's problem?! How did you get enough information for them to find out the cause without talking to R'Shara because I don't get the impression you guys have talked before now? Or are you referring to your Sims 3 problem? If so, see my previous post. When you said that people were drama queens over the problem when no one in this thread was being a drama queen, people thought you were referring to those in this thread who weren't being drama queens. And calling non-drama queens such is being dismissive of their issues. There have been posters who have acted like drama queens in other threads (and they aren't necessarily posting in this thread currently, I don't remember who did or did not post about bugs in such a manner and I have no desire to go hunting for those posts), so maybe you were referring to them, but without something that acknowledges that no one in the thread is being a drama queen over the bugs they are experiencing, it would put those who are experiencing the worst of the bugs on the defensive - as if you were dismissing their issues. When you really weren't trying to do so.

"We will dismiss this claim" I did not say that you did not talk to EA about your problem with The Sims 3 and your saves being deleted. What I said was that you can't say that that same problem is definitely the cause for R'Shara's problem. You can say that it may be an Origin problem because the program was at fault for deleting your Sims 3 saves. This is especially true since Origin was released well after Sims 3 was initially released so some of the problems may have been due to compatibility issues that ME:A wouldn't have. Now, if your MEA saves had been deleted and EA had told you it was Origin, then that would be an entirely different issue.

If EA makes it possible for all game owners with proof of purchase to be eligible for a $30 rebate, then I'm sure plenty of gamers will cut them some slack.

No amount of money will get me to cut them some slack. I can't be bribed with money. If they start punishing developers for releasing buggy games and stop acting like the money hungry publishers they have been lately, then maybe, maybe I'll consider cutting them some slack after several games are released that have few bugs and are great.
