Yup, Moxxi is quite the BSN of Borderlands characters..

Never seen a pearlescent in BL1 but in BL2 the Stalker ( borderlands.wikia.com/wiki/Stalker_(pistol) )dropped when I killed a chubby enemy ( borderlands.wikia.com/wiki/Chubby )in one of the headhunter dlcs.

Oh, didn't look into that thread very much.. I read the OP and the first posts, turned my pc off and on the next day that thread was destroyed by the empire modbots..

I'm replaying through Borderlands 1 at the moment, specifically The Secret Armoury of General Knoxx DLC. I forgot how good the humour was in those Echo messages.

I only played Roland and Lilith in BL1 and while I played Roland (I like turrets) a bit more I have to say that Lilith is my favourite in that game. Soloing Crawmarax? With Lilith: no problem .

It gets harder in BL2 because I like almost every character. I played Axton (see Roland) the most but I liked Maya more.. and of course the character who

In BLTPS I only played Nisha so far. And I really like her with the Maggie (a character- weapon combo made in heaven).

I unfortunately haven't gotten to playing many classes but the ones I have played/liked:

BL1: Lilith, twice because of the corrupted file. I did start the second run with her a while back but haven't been back to it.

BL2: Axton. I've gotten so lazy with his turret that I don't know if I can actually try to not be lazy with another character.

Pre: Nisha. Claptrap was a lot of fun (don't need to breath in space!), but it's so much easier with Nisha. She's a psychopath (and that's saying something for BL), but I love her action skill and the shameless flirting with Jack. I also tend to prefer shotgunning, but with her I branched out and went with some pistol fun, which I rarely use.

Nah, I'll save my pitchfork for times when I'm trully offended/triggered (which rarely happens, so it has little to none bloodstains).

Not much to say about Bl1. As for Bl2. I have weakness for Jacobs (that look, uumh). If only it was a tad better...

Oh well.

Hyperion's SRs, Tediore's Shotguns/Rocket Launchers, Jacobs' Pistol, Maliwan's SMGs. Not big fan of ARs. I don't like burst fire, so I avoid Dahl. Most Bandit stuff is meh.

It has been some time since I played, but for my weapons from what I remember for BL2 and PreS (unless I’m mistaken):

I love elemental weapons. Maliwan specializes in them but they're aren't always the best variety (or I've at least always had something better when I find them). I don't care for the explosive weapons because the RoF is UGH and the reload is WORSE UGH. It makes using an AR useless. I don't like shock weapons either. They're not good for anything but shields whereas with fire/corrosive I can burn my vulnerable enemies and laugh at their pain. Although I tend to forget that fire doesn't work on armor like it does in Mass Effect.

I’ve used a lot of different shotguns, but I think Jacobs are the ones I’ve liked the most? Decent shot capacity is hard to find, but if the reload speed is fast/damage is high enough I can work with 2 minimum shots -- in PreS it seemed pretty much impossible for me to find anything higher. (And I like the gun that SHOOTS SWORDS THAT ALSO EXPLODE just because it's fun.)

Hyperion is great at making smooth SRs. Steady and little-to-no recoil is heaven, but they're not strong. Most of the time I end up using their elemental SMGs. I honestly can't remember which brand of SR I like the most, which is sad because I use them a lot. (A couple of Jacobs ones stick out in my mind.) I certainly hated the ones with burst fire...

...And with ARs I don't like burst fire and their stability/accuracy is painful a lot of the time. I used them mostly in BL1 because the others games were lacking. SMGs usually have them beat in all my desired stats. I never use Bandit. With Tediore the exploding reload thing is fun, but I would forget about it and explode myself, because I am a compulsive reloader.

In BL1 I used pistols a fair amount but stopped until Nisha in PreS because I kept finding a lot of really good ones, and they work great with her skill. For her pistols I’ve used a lot of Jacobs.

…So apparently I’m a troglodyte who uses a lot of Jacobs?
