So the DLC is actually free, good. I already knew about it thanks to leaks last week.

Laymen Gaming actually enjoyed Borderlands 3 So much personality in this game and universe! Wait, what? Honestly, I'd like to be able to see that, because I genuinely do enjoy Borderlands gameplay. But I've had three games of that, and other than the decent FPS gameplay... it has an excuse plot, characters developed to the lowest common denominator of sexy girl/violent guy/ whatever SJW stuff you fellow teenagers like these days, customization funneled into sorting through one billion useless guns to hopefully find one that's actually usable, and... that's about it. Neat quirky graphics too, I guess, if you're into that. Again, I like playing these games, I'll probably even play the newest one at some point. But to me they have the personality of a pickle. Kinda nice and spicy at first bite, but you'll just get nauseous if you have too many without having something of actual substance in between.

Been enjoying the Underdome in the original Borderlands, but there's little forgiveness. I'd like to complete the quest objectives of 25 waves for each of the 3 areas. But closing out the last of the three, 'The Gully' is requiring a certain level of persistence after some repeated setbacks.
Well FFS. After some 60 waves (to complete 25) it came down to slapping two of the boss' flunkies in the face for want of ammo to complete. Wasn't going back two rounds, again... (no, there is no way I'm going to complete 20 more rounds for each one).

I do like the game, the premise is very cool, and the variety of guns is cool once you know how all the parts alter the gun... But it's all shooting. I don't care for most of the color pallets for characters, and you can't customize your guns without using a save editor. Don't get me wrong, I'm not giving BL a bad rep, I just can't get INTO it like most everyone else. I am excited for BL3, but I have to admit it's more to tide me over until The Outer Worlds arrives.

How to be 2K 101: Basically, they sent people to intimidate a smaller youtuber for """"leaking"""" information about BL3, information that was publicly available thanks to the comany's own fuck up. The guy gave them free publicity for the past 3 years or so making videos about the game, and this is how they answer. They then proceeded to strike his channel, contact discord to shut down his page and his account with BS reasoning. It seems like between GBX and 2k/Take 2 they are doing everything in their power to kill all hype for BL3. The game was selling itself just nicely, but they had to wrap it out in controversy, one after the other.

I went back to Borderlands 2 when the DLC was announced and it reminded me why I stopped playing the game in the first place. Its boring for me to play with no real objectives to try and keep up with. Now this is just based on the first two games since the Pre-Sequel didn't interest me at all, but the way I am seeing Borderlands 3 gives me the feeling they haven't bothered to try and update the gameplay loop at all and that is a dinosaur even when it was first released. It was just one of the first looter-shooters so I played it, but now I have more games to play and less time to play them so I cannot see myself giving Borderlands 3 any real interest until the game is really cheap and maybe not even then.

Just watched the video. Unbelievable. Oh... who am I kidding, it's 2K, it's not like they haven't done something like that in the past. They are closing the guy's channel altogether because they can't stand their own incompetence. And what's worse, stupid IGN(orant ) takes 2K's side and acts as their lapdog. WHAT? Disgusting. The guy was one of the biggest fans of the series, never said anything ill about the games nor the company. The worse he ever said was not agreeing with EPICs policies and that's why he would get the game on console instead. How can 2K treat their content creators like that? Just because he isn't some big streamer like K6 and what not. Childish behavior. I won't feel bad for "Steam greenlighting" the game as we call it here.
