Worst character in the Mass Effect Universe

I hated Sloane, but more in a good way. My only regret is not being able to quickly slap out the Carnifex and do her in myself. Not like the Charlatan would have complained. 

And I never read the book, so to me he just appeared out of thin air with no backstory or reason for me to think he's a compelling addition worthy of being introduced into the final act in the saga.  Same reason I don't care for James.  His backstory is also fleshed out in other media and he shows up at the start like he and I are pals and all I could think was "I'm sorry and you are..."  

Much like Jacob and Kaiden before him and his successor Liam, he stays and guards the ship through every play through except when he's forced off ship on Mars and Earth.

Geez... to me the human males in every ME game are just the absolute worst.  Not that I hate them, they are just so dull and I wish they were replaced with an alien.

Where is the option for SAM?

Kai "the wanna-be assassin" Leng was a joke. The role would have been better to use a phantom. Why did the clown stick his sword in the ground, then throw the asari like a sack of potatoes across the screen instead of stabbing her? Yeah. So much for that assassin crap. Its too bad my Shepard couldn't say to him, when stabbing him, "that's for not killing that stupid asari on Thessia you SOB". The best thing I can say about the guy is he has the best hair in the game

Liam is not bland. He's just a hypocritical asshole. He actually has something about him to hate. Jacob's issue is just that he is lame. He does and say nothing of interest.

Conrad is the man. He's Shepard's number 1 fan. If in ME3, he protects Shepard from being shot. He knew that if Shepard were to be killed, the chances of destroying reapers would be that much harder. He's a hero. Its too bad my Shepard couldn't give the guy a hug for saying she's beautiful.

He's the one that pulls Shepard from the rubble. Now Shepard has become Conrad's #1 fan. excellent

Hopefully he has a bigger role in the sequel to ME3 when its released.

ME3 Joker can be a jackass sometimes but I'd never put him on THE LIST. ME3 EDI however is pure trash. Still not bad enough for me to vote, a damn terribly devolved piece of shit but not worst character bad. Liara's in the running for worst character with her insane inconsistencies, woe is me tendencies in ME2 and annoyingly voiced "loud whispering" that got old by the time I finished Mars. I hate her VA's performance in ME2 and 3 and I'll never suspend disbelief with her as a revenge obsessed asari. Sometimes I wish I could blast her in the back of the head with a Predator and take Vasir or Shiala with me. I'm sick of these asari princesses, give me a straight up killer/merc/badass that isn't a maiden staged girl.

Rant aside, Crapalyst is the ultimate worst character ever of the MEUniverse. It's illogical, literally kills the flow and emotion of ME3, wrecks the franchise with its existence, takes the form of an autistic little prick and removes any threat the reapers had because they're not the hyper advanced race of machine-man hybrids who had the free will to wreck and rebuild we thought they had. When a single character can undo over a hundred hours of content, then by god you're a fucking innovator or torch and run.

edi is not badly developed. In fact she is the one character that proves the star child wrong.Her character ark is about the correct way to develop and educate ai's. A thing needed plot so heavy about the issue about artifical life. The geth and legion were about how different and how much the same the perspective of ai's are and the conflicts around them with organics. Edi's ark was need to show the right way to educate and treat synthetics.

as bad as liam.is he is not as bad as Jacob. Jacob is like watching paint dry. Liam is like dealing with some pretentious shit from tumblr.

Would have voted for Subject Zero but not on the list. Vote for Peebutt instead.

The clown and the bot

Joker was alright in ME1/2. In ME3 it was all about baking a cake for a thing. Then says there's no regulation against dating the ships ai.

The hologram turned platform added nothing. It was given a platform to keep the clown smiling and I believe to promote the green crap. It tries to be something it will never be. I would rather have an ME2 squadmate instead of the bot. It was better as a hologram
