Am I just to American or something? All his sentences just seem like jiberish to me. It might even bother me if he had anything worth saying. But still it is horrible. You are not alone. Even when he isn't speaking gibberish its rarely worth listening to anyway. I actually miss Jacob after spending a whole game with Liam on my ship.  |

I think of Liam as a really good friend who's earnest and loyal with a lot of admirable qualities, but just a little bit 'slow' if you get the drift. Someone you want with you in the foxhole, but not someone you want to handle complex situations.
His accent is fine, though. I'm Australian but I listen to a lot of English and American people talking, and a few Indians, so I'm used to all kinds of accents. This is more about his... quirky... way of constructing sentences.

I understood her and appreciated that she wasn't another Vivienne or Solas. Once the whole, "how Qunari of you" came out, my impression of her being an idiot was shelved. |

He's fine. He speaks pretty cleanly. My native language is not English, and I got every word he's saying with no subtitles on. Just be glad he's not at GTA IV Jacob level of unintelligible accent.  |

Ingrish aint even mah motha tongue and I can understand him just fine. I do have subtitles turned on, though. Come to think of it, I always have had subtitles on, since, well, Dragon Age Origins, maybe earlier but full voiced games weren't universal back then. It's at the point where if I install any new game, I go in and change the settings subconsciously before hitting 'new game'. So maybe that's why I've never had a problem with Liam. |
