Sounded like Nyreen. But I think all female Turians sound like Nyreen ... ...because I only heard Nyreen  Or... it might be becasue Vetra has the same VA as Nyreen did  I don't know... I wouldn't mind because I LOVE her voice acting, but I would have bet my right arm Peebee's voice actor's was Jack's (Courtney Taylor) and she wasn't... We shall see  |

Shinobi on Gaf said that the Angarian in the trailer, at the center after Ryder meets them, is the new squadmate. There's mentions on devs confirmation on twitter as well. Did I miss something? I got that vibe too, but I hope we could have some impact to make a diplomatic Sara or a rough and self confident Scott if we wish. The replayability would be much better |

I prefer the Grey Morality Mastermind she shows in ME2. I have more hopes with Peebee in the Archeologist regard. I've never felt Liara was a real archeologist. Have you ever worked with archeologists? They are supertough, active and funny. Liara is more like an Historian / Classicist and book lover. And I'm a freaking Historian!  Nope. Always wanted to become an archaeologist myself, but ended up a geologist because of the realities of the turbulent world we live in. I am not attached to her job title & I am happy to call her a Prothean Classicist, heh. I was just very fond of the character concept as it initially appeared in ME1. Aaaah, hehehehe, ok I don't agree with you (because I prefer ME2 Liara better) but I understand your point And I have to admit it: when I play ME1 in French, I freaking fell in love with her. She was SO adorable... Voices are a big thing for me, they can ruin me a character. In Liara's case, her monotone original voice always bores me. And it's not the voice actor's fault (I loved Harding in DA:I), I think my problems are more related to the indications she received. Fortunately, ME3 Liara is like a mix of ME1 and ME2. She is not as naive as in ME1 and definetely not as aggresive as in ME2. |

I used to like Liara and then the attempted writing changes to make her into the most well-liked squadmate permanently ruined any chance of tolerating her. When I see Liara, I don't see a character. I see an attempt by writers to make her as significant as possible at the cost of plausibility. She's a reminder of the numerous frustrations I had with ME3 when player choice was sacrificed and relationships were determined for you. Had I been given the option to not have her on the team throughout ME3, it would have eased the saturation. It did not ruin the character for me, but I too preferred Liara, the Quaint Archeologist to Liara, the Criminal Mastermind. I prefer the Grey Morality Mastermind she shows in ME2. I posted something a loooong time ago, but I can't find it. I was thinking your backstory can be a mix between your family relationship and the reason why you are in Andromeda's Initiative, something like:
Family Project
You are in good terms with your father and your sibling. Since you were children, you and your sibling saw how your parents work hard in Andromeda Initiative. That's why at your 18 birthday you two are part of the Andromeda Initiative. It's like a family project for you.
Sibling Bond
You are in good terms with your sibling but you always had problems with your father. That's why when you became an adult you left home to explore the galaxy outside your family ties. However, you kept talking with your sibling. After working in private security in Noveria and a couple of bodyguarding jobs, your sibling contacted you in order to convince you to join Andromeda Initiative. Although you are not sure about leaving MW behind, you finally join the Project in order to keep not to lose your twin.
Black Sheep

Preach it. Mine was never Cerberus either. They supplied the ship, the uniforms and the weapons. Shepard gave the affair necessary talent, be it his/hers or their squad. Nobody else would recruit that kind of group together. Eh, I might be wrong, but I think mike liked Cerberus, so he might've meant the opposite of what you're saying. I can be wrong though.
