Which one? Dean Takahashi in Eternal or that Polygon journalist who must have been playing 2016 on a steering wheel? Speaking of more journalist shenanigans, PCGgamer decided to repost a bunch of six year old articles for no apparent reason, including this one. That’s some hard hitting journalism and we know exactly what the response would be if it was the other way. I hope people are roasting him hard in the comments and calling out his hypocrisy.

I'm really pleased to hear Rook's age range isn't too narrow. I want to play a grizzled middle-aged dwarf Grey Warden on my second run and it's nice to know that the game won't be going around assuming he's twenty-two. Maybe you can play a grizzled Dwarf Grey Warden who HAPPENS to be 22 even though he looks like he's 42.

That does make me wonder who actually funds the Wardens? Following times of blight I imagine grateful nobles, and perhaps the chantry, are providing some level of funding, but who is keeping the bread buckets full during times of peace? Perhaps a lot of adventures into the deep roads are not only for the purpose of keeping the finger on the darkspawn pulse, but also for loot? It also stands to reason some Wardens are from wealthy families - perhaps those families make willing donors. Maybe they have a Patreon and offer cool rewards based on how much you donate. Like one sovereign can get you in their Discord server.

Also not demon related: Wyverns, phoenix, lurkers, draconlisks, varghest, quillbacks, gurguts, giant spiders, deepstalkers and ghasts. Whilst most of these tend to occur in more remote places, I imagine some may trouble settlements, particularly in the Anderfels because there isn't much else up there for these creatures to eat. The Wardens need to finance their operation somehow so doing a bit of monster hunting probably keeps the money flowing whether they charge for their services or just receive donations from grateful citizens. Do Wardens actually get paid for hunting monsters, like witchers? I'd say the bigger question, is do the Wardens get paid at all? I mean if I'm risking my life killing a bunch of Darkspawn, I would like to have financial compensation please.

More reasons this digital and corporate era is crashing… I hate reading articles online, especially since most are dogshit click bait and now one of the last bastions in the magazine era is gone. With the scourge of digital entertainment being censored with no recourse and add to that the corporate fuckery of not informing your workers and further fanning the flames of anti corporation bullshit and it’s just a powder keg of frustration waiting to explode. Can I get off this ride now? Digital media has a lot of advantages but it's vulnerable to censorship.

I understand that everyone has different preferences but personally i love capes. I hope DAVe will have capes similar to this The first and last ones are what I would call cloaks. Those I don't mind. They typically serve a purpose. Capes are ridiculous and useless accoutrement.

Sadly, males got the short end of the stick in Inquisiton. But Anders is good and I'm tired of people saying that he's not! In terms of options for sure, but remember that of the 4 available romances for straight women two were race-gated, and the two who were not had some... complicating elements (Blackwall's crime isn't easy to stomach, and IB can straight up betray you and say he never cared if you never saved the Chargers). And let's not even talk about Solas lol. Cullen being a recovering drug-addict still leaves him the most straightforward of the lot. In comparison Cassandra and Josephine are both very wholesome romances (although if you decide to support Cass as Divine I guess that adds some spice to it)... Don't think straight women have had that since Alistair. xD People like good drama lol. It's just that you can't straight up marry them in Inquisition like some females could with Cullen and Sera. Yes, I know Morrigan and the Warden are technically married but it wasn't in the wholesome traditional way like in those two. It made little sense to not marry Cassandra since she's definitely type of gal who would dig that sort of thing.

I knew I had seen that style of dagger before, I just couldn't place the name. (thanks @thiefkingix) The Lyrium Dagger is essentially a large Kunai. Though probably not going to see a lot of use as a climbing dagger. Maybe. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kunai Looks like Rook is channeling his inner Naruto.

Dragon Inquisition is the most successful BioWare game with 6 million copies sold. The last three RPG games of Assassin’s Creed which is Orgins to Valhalla have all sold more ten million copies. I think it’s BioWare that should be one’s to try avoid direct competition. From a business point of view I think it’s best for DATV to release in October. It also hard to type this without sounding like an a**... Inquisition also came out in a very weak AAA gaming year and that plays a part. So what? It was critically and commercially successful.

Jesus. I’m replaying DA2: Anders was the absolute worst, wasn’t he (though interesting for story/drama)? Like I’m almost romancing freakin’ Sebastian instead, despite it being a boneless relationship - at least until marriage, so we’re chaste under the eyes of the Maker or whatever (ugh!). DA2 Female Hawkes had it rough in the romance department. Seriously… >.< Sadly, males got the short end of the stick in Inquisiton. But Anders is good and I'm tired of people saying that he's not!

JokeDealer Anyway, to continue here, I also looked at Steam Wishlist, DA is 95th most wishlisted, KCD2 is 44th. I think it's just been too long, literally a decade, and with Andromeda's reception, and how people seem to overall feel about BW... I don't know if there's many outside of this forum who are genuinely hardcore fans. in 11 weeks it goes from 95th to 52th. It work it's way up. Why is Steam the be all and end all of gaming communities? I hope the poster realizes that there are various gaming communities than JUST Steam.

GameSpot - Dragon Age: The Veilguard Won’t Leave New Players BehindBioWare talks about making sure its new Dragon Age feels like an exciting new chapter for fans and how it’s also bringing new players into Thedas That's what they all say but then the game gives you a lot of info that requires knowledge from the previous games.

I can't believe that they're going to abandon that plotline, ESPECIALLY when the potential victim is your character. I hope we do find out what happened to Hawke or whoever you left behind in the fade in the future. the plot line has been resolved unless Bioware decides to reopen it. The consequences of the choice were clear. If it's my character sacrificing themselves, I would like to know if they're dead or not.

A month or so ago, someone who’d played the game (can’t for the life of me remember who/where, but either here or BW’s official Discord), said something like “some things are better left for the future”, when asked about Hawke/Stroud or whoever was left in the Fade - and that the Devs are focused on the main game rn. Anyone else thinking, Fade rescue mission DLC, possibly? 🧐 I can't believe that they're going to abandon that plotline, ESPECIALLY when the potential victim is your character. I hope we do find out what happened to Hawke or whoever you left behind in the fade in the future.

So with Harding getting mysterious abilities, does that mean that the Titan storyline is going to continue? The relationship between the Titans and the Dwarves is the most fascinating piece of lore to me even if we got very little of it. It has massive implications on who the Dwarves truly were and their connection to magic. Did the ancient Dwarves end up like the Elves with infighting or perhaps Mythal and Elvenuris' war against the Titatns destroyed the Dwarves true selves.
So many questions, it's exciting to think about them lol.
