Yeah I saw that on youtube, very surprised. 

I've seen several people stating that this game would fail because there was no strong white male character, and they complained about Davrin as well. 

A little confused, I asked these guys why they discarded Emmerich and Lucanis, as strong white male characters, what measure they would use to decide that they were no strong male characters without knowing the story, the content, or without knowing anything actually about this game ?

And they bizarrely responded me that Lucanis was not white, but brown. And I was like WTF !   

I then asked them if they ever left their country to travel and discover the world lol. I, as a black guy, had to educate them on the fact that also among white people they was diversity of skin colors. In the north of Europe, people are pale, not necessarily in the south for example.

Italians, spanish, greeks even in the south of France, white people look easily like Lucanis. I traveled a lot, so I am very aware of that. 

Then one of them answered me that frenchs, spanishs, and italians weren't true white people.

That's where I figured out I was maybe talking to 14 years old kiddies or the very very far right and it wasn't worth it to debate or try to understand their logic. they were just irrational.

To be honest I felt that these guys never played dragon age, because there were already dark skinned elves in DAO, in the Brecilian forest, in DAII, and in DAI, in the exalted plains with blackhairstyle.
