Sword and board looks so fun that I think I might change my plans for my second Rook  . (I'm definitely planning dwarf Warrior, just now debating what kind of weapons.) Cracking up that the opening notice says they took out the major spoilers and then in the next line drops a major plot bomb AND seemingly confirms a giant lore thing. Looks like the Elven Gods are doing what Cory did and are corrupting Dragons into Archdemons via the Blight this time. With how the Elven Gods are controlling the Darkspawn it does put Solas' distaste for the Blight into context while also have implications for the broader lore such as the Blights and the archdemons themselves.

I'm kinda hoping that destroying Bianca is just the same means as destroying our Inky's arm - it's just a way to justify them not being in the thick of it with us. Hopefully it could also mean that Varric could also perhaps move on from the actual Bianca? Like, I get she's his big love, but at the end of the day she's with her husband and I think Varric deserves some happiness after all the shit he's been through. Hidden Varric romance Bioware? Common, you know you want to!If he dies, I'm probably... like almost inclined to resent Bianca (Davri), as well. Screw that b*tch. Varric deserved better. But seriously, if they end up killing Varric, I'll be devastated. 10 years of waiting only to see my favorite character biting the dust, It'll make me more motivated to turn Solas into my personal goblet.

That's the difference between ARPGs (controller-based) and tactical RPGs (KM-based). ARPGs emphasize immediate muscle reactions, and you don't have time to choose one from 20 abilities. On the other hand, in tactical RPGs, you can think carefully for 5 minutes and choose the most suitable ability. *looks at all the tactical RPGs and strategy games build for consoles* Umm…wouldn’t say they’re KM-based. If anything, that sounds elitist lol. Implying that ARPGs are somehow mindless and doesn't require you to think on your feet and choose the best ability you have.

I must say seeing that brief gameplay of the Mage made me heavily consider playing a Mage for the first time in the series. In fact, it's the first I'll ever play a Mage in RPGs since I usually play Warriors or a Rogue. It showed what a great job Bioware did displaying the Mages power and finesse. I love it!

Yeah it's not a gam ethat interests me tbh but I'm no tsurprised it's doin gwell given soulslikes do seem t od owell on Steam .I'm jus tno tintrested in tha tsort of gam epersonally I'd rather wait for Veilguard besides I'm bus yplayin gthe other DA games atm. 90+% of this 2+ millions on steam are from china so nothing special. “Mage” combat looks awful and very boring. Just what I thought it would be when I heard mages were reduced to only having 3 spells. I put mage in quotation marks because it doesn’t look like a mage to me. If they use magical spells, they're a mage.

Raytracing preview (plus mage sneak peek) I'm actually tempted to make my character into a mage after seeing clips of that. That gameplay looks soooo buttery smooth and engaging.

Can't say I don't like Maria's new look at all. She looks very plain and forgettable compared to the 2001 version where she was designed to tempt James. Also the music does NOT fit the atmosphere of Silent Hill AT ALL.

That's all stuff that has been posted before and is documented. Nothing new (to me, anyways). I don't think it will be as bad as it sounds, I'm willing to see what the game is like once I actually play it and form my own opinion. In spite of what sounds bad, I think everytthing we have seen looks really good. Yeah I thin kit'sa case of making your own decisions these days if you know it's the type of game you really like. I chose to ignore reviews and ge tAndromeda anyway and I don' t regret it as I find it a really fun game to play. I think if you're relatively sure you'll llike a game based off what you're seeing durin it's marketing it's worth taking a gamble don't necessaril ylisten to wha tcritics are sayingbecause a lot o fwha tthe ysa yis clicfkbait t oge tthem extra views pay attention t owhat your seeing when you're looking at it and see i fit's showing you what you want to see. It's the main reason why I've preordered Veilguard. Sure I have some reservations as to th egames comba tbut with the accessibility options and a little time I htin kwit ha bi to fpractice I shoul db eable t oadapt and enjoy it I think. My biggest concern no wis whether I ca nhandle boss enemies like the Prid eDemon in the gameplay trailer OK. Given I'll likel yb eplaying o nStory mkod eanywa yhopefull yI should b efine as the casua lsettings aer usuall pretty good in Bioware's games and wedo know tha tVeilguard does hav ea god mode .I' mjus thopin gI don' thav eto use it too often if at all as that can at times feel like over kill. Gotta say, I feel dissapointed by view counts of release date trailer, it's been 30 hours and it's still quite far from 1 million views. At least dislike brigading is much less significant. Why is it that disliking something you happen to like is labelled 'brigading'? That 'Twatter-like' attitude is far too common in certain circles. Because sometimes it is brigading.
