I cut my hair short and my kids' comments were "Funny hair!" and "You have boys hair, mom!" Out of the mouths of babes and all that... 😂

"NO WANNIT!" -- "I do not want this."
"GO PLAY!" -- Thinks this must be some kind of insult, or something. Screams it at me and the wife on occasion when he's angry. This is what we tell him when he's somewhere he isn't supposed to be, or just being a little asshole in general lol.
"No, Daddy BAD WORD!" -- Whenever I say fuck, shit, motherfucker, cocksucker, etc.
"Watcha traaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaains?" -- Any time I'm trying to use my laptop, or he sees the youtube logo. He loves that channel where they do little stories with Thomas toys. Toytrais4u. Look it up, it's actually pretty rad.

"Mom, I have a secret to tell you. Your belly is really big."
Gee thanks, I hadn't noticed.

My daughter is now trying to kiss, but I don't think she's realized that you need to purse your lips to do this and that you don't need to ram your face into the other person's face. My husband and I, and even our cat, have been getting these drooly, open mouthed head butts over the past few days. It's gross and I have to constantly wipe my face off but I love it

As I was putting my kid in her room for time-out (my patience had been tested like no other yesterday!) I was closing the door and she said,
"Don't be a stranger, mom!"

sitting at dinner tonight the youngest mentions this little gem; "we get forced to go through sex ed after our exams i'm not looking forwards to it, i'm scared the others will make fun of me" me: why would you be scared? youngest: well I don't know how to make the white stuff me: do you mean sperm or seamen? youngest: (slightly red In the face) no I mean "cum" me: well son that's just an improper name for seamen, the word sperm means the little tadpoles that swim around in the liquid that's called seamen collectively. missues: do you mean you don't know where it comes from or....? youngest : (practically beatroot) I mean I don't know how to make it yet ....... at this point the 2 teens at the table explode food going everywhere....... my youngest for reference is soon to be eleven, he's very well clued up on pretty much everything because his siblings are legally old enough and when there not talking about it one or other is doing it with their partner, although fortunately he does seem to have grown out of trying to barge into rooms ot catch people at it / damn I don't know how I managed to keep a straight face, the missus was hiding under her jumper pretending she had dirt in her eye, fortunately he accepted the fact that its just something that you start doing as you get older, and not to worry because theres not practical tests in class, besides he can just lie to his mates most of them will only be lieing to him anyway

I know I did. well the others all avoided following in their old mans footsteps so hopefully not.... anyhow this morning he informed me that he was no longer worried about sex ed, apparently someone had told them they have to pass a practical test and he was extremely worried by that notion....

When my older brother was really young (before I was born). He saw a truck and said "Look, it's a fuck!". Then my parents went "No!" as they tried to get him to not say it.

Oh, my daughter went through this as well when she was 2. My daughter hates getting her hair done. I put her hair in pigtails yesterday, and she tried to pull them out herself, causing it to be a mess. She cried pretty hard when I took them out, so hard that dad came from upstairs asking if she was okay. I said, "I'm sorry it hurt, honey." She said, "It's okay, it's okay!!!!!" In such a sarcastic way that me and my husband just cracked up.

But that when I realized what it sounded like I cried. even now I rarely curse. Sorry ive been following this thread for a while even though I have no kids but this one kinda got me so I said something :poker:

@privateinvestigator I don't have kids either. I'm 21 so the only type of stories I can tell in this subject tend to be about what my siblings have done.
I don't remember anything I (or my sisters) have said that would have stuck out as hilarious as a little kid. My brothers tend to have funnier stories than me as younger children. I know this thread was meant for little children, but here's one with my oldest brother, who wasn't really good kid at the time. He was about 14-15 years old. I don't remember every single detail he told me about it so some of this might be inaccurate. Jay is hanging out with two friends. Both of which were computer geeks or something like that. They were high on something at a park and decided to call so many random places including the Pentagon.
The two friends ran away because they knew the police would be coming. Jay stayed. The police did come and he ran to the hills, where he would remain over night.
The next morning, he was returned to my mom at our house by the police who found him. At the door, Jay said "I'm so sorry mom!".
And that's not the only thing Jay did. He always seems to have a new story every time he visits.

Husband sits down and is eating one of the kids snacks. Twin 1 (Regan) walks up to him and says "You can't eat that!" Hubby "Why not? And who are you what I can do? Are you a Queen?" Regan "Yes! I'm the Queen of the house" Hubby "Oh yeah? What does that make your sister then?" Regan, without missing a beat "A servant." ----- Me talking with our oldest about divorce at the dinner table. Me "And don't you think it's better to just get a divorce than to be unhappy in a relationship?" Oldest nods "yes" Riley (2. twin) I think I need a divorce. I'm not very happy with Regan." -------- Regan comes running in to my bedroom without shirt on, stops, looks at me and puts her hands on her chest and yells "I got tiny boobies!" Then runs back out. (I still think her older sister has something to do with that

My dad told a story.
That when I was younger once I tried to paint with the tips of my hair and make the shape of Texas. Not really cute or funny but it's ridiculous and out there I guess!
He said I dropped ketchup all over the place because I didn't have paint or a brush.
My art skills probably haven't improved despite what he'd say.
