If Solas can create the Veil, it does make me wonder if Mythal really did create one of the moons in Thedas?
Anyways, I do wonder if a "3rd" option can be possible regarding the fate of the Veil. Rather than just completely removed it, why not make a stable tears/ portals where Spirits and people (maybe) can pass in and out of?
Lastly, there does seem to be many stories of people getting along with and being helped by wolves, but such practice eventually dwindled out. I think even the Emerald Knights of the Dales had wolf companions.

In a way, Flemythal is still helping the People as Asha'bellanar, albeit in a more quid pro quo way (or is it?) than she may have during the peak of the Elvhen civilization.
It was said that after Marathari's clan was slaughtered, she went to forbidden place in the forest in order to seek out vengeance and soon enough the people who killed her clan were killed by Sylvans, etc. I do believe that's where she made her deal with Asha'bellanar and we all saw what happened years in the future.

I wish less rpgs focus on making their games open world, namely ones that normally didn't do such things like ME, Dragon Age and Final Fantasy. It's costly in terms of time and money and as a result the story seems to suffer.

It's been a while since playing Dragon Age 2, but I recall that your family will be roughly the same skin tone your character regardless of presets?

The facial animation is not a deal breaker for me, but while I was watching the gameplay (16hr worth) I was thinking how pretty outdated and bland the faces and body looked.
It was only when looking at some ME 1-3 clips that I realized that ME:A looked worse. I thought that it would have been on par -if not better- than Dragon Age: Inquisition in terms of looks, but it's not.
The environments look nice and big, but I was getting too much DA:I vibes from the areas.

I can't help but wonder if Solas' followers were supposed to wake him up, but due to the chaos that putting the Veil cause, they were hunted and killed and the remaining ones went into hiding ... leaving only the Mask of Fen'harel (seen in DA:Redemption). P
The mask does tear the Veil, too bad it was destroyed, but maybe it acted like a watered down version of the Orb?
I don't find it a mere coincidence that the mask can tear the veil when it was Fen'harel that also created the Veil

Even if Mulgrew don't want to voice Flemeth, they can always get another VA.
Isn't that what they did with Ander's VA? He was different in Awakening vs DA2

I don't know about Flemeth returning as we know her, but I think Mythal still exists.
I think that Solas ripped out Mythal's essence/ wisp from Flemeth and took it into himself.
If anything, what Solas is doing is working in favour for Mythal's vengeance; she did say that there'll "be a reckoning that'll shake the very heavens" and Heavens is usually associate with the Fade/ sky

I think the reason why they don't bother to tell us anything (aside from a story-telling pov) is due to them thinking we're just pawns for them to use in a grander game.
In the words of Flemythal "People do not want to know the truth" and the Inquisitor was the only person that could close rifts and act as a foil against Corypheus. Had Solas told the truth (whatever it may be) the Inquisitor might not have been willing to play along, especially with Solas being as weak as he was at the time. In her own cryptic way of speaking, Flemeth did hint what she was "A shadow lingering in the sun" (a shadow of her former self) "Forgotten by the world" (Mythal was forgotten, save for what the Dalish barely remembers of her myths) and "A flotsam to cling to in the storm" (Mythal clinging to Flemeth for survival) In fact, I think there's some truths to Flemeth's dialogues if we can decipher her cryptic way of speaking. At the very least she'll quickly shut down potential questions via "more than that you need not know" whereas Solas will either skirt around the subject, maybe even lie.
Lastly, Flemeth also calls herself a "fly in the ointment" back in DAO ... that sounds pretty ominous when you consider she's cause a reckoning that'll shake the heavens.
I'm pretty sure there's a lot of things he doesn't want people to find out. I found it strange that he was very quiet throughout The Descent when we learn the history of the Dwarves and Titans; you'd think he'd comment about "so even Dwarves erase their own history" or such. After Trespasser, it makes sense why he was silent.
On a side note, if he and other ancient Elvhen don't consider modern people as "people" due to being cut-off from the Fade (despite still being connected via dreams, etc) then what would Elvhen even think of the Dwarves, especially back then?
The more I think of it, I think June may have been the 1st Dwarf (due to his Dwarven iconography) to somehow "connect" to the Fade; thus "creating himself" in the eyes Elvhen

I always thought it was a giant lyrium core-like structure that's further away from the wellspring that's giving off that light.

My blind (canon) run
I let my PC drink from the well. I figured, since the Inquisitor has the Anchor he'll need to know as much about it as possible and not rely on what a mage that I don't know, nor does one of my advisor (Leliana) trust drink from it. Afterall, my PC doesn't know Morrigan.
That and I figured that my PC might die in the end.

To be fair, Flemythal has been around in the post-veil world far longer than Solas has. In the course of her many lives, she may have met a person that proved her wrong about the people living in the post-veil world much like Solas if he has a good opinion of you.
Though, I am not sure about her "wrekoning that will shake the very heavens" will have any damage to the Fade or physical world

I don't think it's too necessary. Corypheus is pretty much the pinnacle of what darkspawn-magisters can be. If they do decide to go that route, I hope the next one isn't too antagonistic and maybe even ally with us.

I don't think the Darkspawn/ Archdemon are too much of a world-ending threat due to there being Wardens eventually killing an Archdemon. Yeah, it's a threat... but a threat that was ended multiple times in the past. The real issue would be what happens in a world without Archdemons?
DA2 introduced red lyrium, but it was mostly a Mage-Templar issue. It was more or less limited to Kirkwall.
But I do agree that after dealing with Ancient Elvhen "god" such as Solas ... I'm not sure what can top that. I guess it's safe to say that Solas' actions will give rise to a much greater threat. Especially since it was hinted that there are more dangerous/powerful beings beings than Elgar'nan and Mythal.
There was a great war that the Evanuris was known for and according to dalish myths Elgar'nan warred with the "Sun" who destroyed all life for his jealousy. Maybe this "Sun" deity is what will be released due to Solas actions in DA4?
Then again, the whole Mage-Templar war was settled and set aside in order to focus on Corypheus. Maybe the Veil and Solas conflict will be settled midway in favor of a great threat?
Otherwise, I can't see DA lasting beyond a 5th installment
Although they can always pull an Andromeda and focus on the lands beyond Thedas

I guess it being standard for some Dalish clans to abandon mages if they have more than 2.
I was always of the opinion that mages were valuable due to their roles as keepers, etc and that the "spare" mage would be trained and then be sent off to another clan in the Arlathvhen that happens every 10-ish years.
Granted, it seems like each clan have their own way of doing it, so some might not even do that.

I wonder if Solas was "elevated" by Mythal because she saw in him his love for the people? That he could offer them wisdom/ an advisory role (like he kinda did with the Inquisitor) so that they could potentially solve their problems themselves rather than immediately go to Mythal to settle disputes?

I personally think that the Magister's holding an Orb that Dorian mentions seeing is probably a Tevinter recreation of an Ancient Elvhen artwork. That said, I do think that there were many Orbs left over (not sure if they were fully powered or black like those we see in Vir Dirthara). We know Tevinter took a lot of things from the Elves and made it their own. So I can see Magisters trying to recreate the Orbs based on what they read on Elvhen texts, slaves, ruins. That said isn't Razikale still imprisoned and not yet made into an Archdemon? I remember one Old God was located in the Hissing Wastes and the Wardens have tried and failed unsuccessfully into get near it to kill it. You can even jump down and die there to see a glimpse of it. So maybe Razikale is deep inside that place JoH?

That seems most likely to me but it is a long way back from the Frostback Basin, so may be they were taken to different parts of Tevinter. The moment they indicated we would be going to Tevinter next game I immediately thought of the foci, particularly since Dorian actually discussed them with Solas. Originally I thought they might be in some vault in Minrathous but now I'm not so sure. I'll be surprised if finding at least one foci (or stopping Solas from finding it) is not part of the plot of the next game. I wonder if the Ancient Tevinter were able to create a rudimentary version of the Elvhen Orbs?

Without Mythal's intervention, there would be a lot of destruction of the world ... potentially even destroy it.
If myth's are to be believed. Mythal calmed Elgar'nan's wrath and allowed the "Sun" to be free again; thus saving life.
Mythal took Andruil's memories of the Void and sapped her strength. Maybe the battle permanently weakened Andruil?
She stopped Falon'Din massacre of People
Since Dragons are Mythal's sacred animals, they must have been protected from slaughter. And we do know that dragon blood has alot of power + it's the "blood of the world" And without Mythal protecting them the dragons could have been very well be hunted by the Evanuris.
She also seemed to have cared for the Dwarves and may have even forbade the slaughter of Titans after she witnessed 1st hand what killing a Titan could do since she was the 1st to kill one.
Without Mythal, Andruil would be hunting people en masse, Ghillan'nain would be creating more monstrosities, Falon'din will keep killing people (with Dirthamens support) and Elgar'nan's wrath will be left unchecked. And that's just about the Evanuris we know. We don't know too much about June and Sylaise. Although Sylaise seems to be full of herself with her folowers saying she crafts better than June, has better temples than Mythal and Fire greater than Elgar'nan.
Lastly, I think Fen'harel rebelled after Mythal was murdered. Prior to her murder she might've prevented/ convinced Fen'harel to not rebel yet since she was keeping the peace.

It does seem like the Forgotten Ones where thrown under the bus in order for Soals to seal the Evanuris away. Soals main beef was the (Evanuris) killed Mythal. I can see Solas spurring the Forgotten Ones to fight against the Evanuris and use that as a distraction for his ultimate goal. Kinda like how he pitted the Inquisitor vs the Qunari. I do find it interesting how we're seeing more mentions of the Forgotten Ones: Geldaurran's Claim and the staff of Anaris priest That said, I do think the the worship of the Forgotten One's is strong in the Tirashan, especially since they call out to gods they (humans) never heard before Lastly, I can't help but wonder if Elgar'nan isn't as powerful as we're all lead to believe? The fact that Falon'Din challenges him and also all the other "propaganda" of his strength makes it seem to me he was insecure (lol). That Mythal might have been even stronger?

Maybe a low-cost spin off game? Something like a TellTale game series?

It really depends on how profitable the DA series is overall. Otherwise, I can see DA4 being the last main DA game ... though I guess it really depends if another big bad is released due to Solas actions.

Favourite: Hanar For me, they look truly alien. They basically jelly fishes and I like how they speak. They seem fairly peaceful, yet they're more than willing to use Drell assassins to fight for them. That and I just fine it very hilarious when I saw a Hanar walk and push that reporter (forget her name).
Least: Vorcha. I don't know too much about them, but they seem fairly unintelligent and are only useful in fighting

I think it would make a lot of sense for the Inquisitor to be a returning protagonist given his/her accomplishments, strength, accumulated knowledge and personal connections, it would make sense for the Inquisitor to return as the hero, especially since they don't die.
The missing arm can be healed via magic. It was mentioned that there's an exiled Tevinter mage that can "graft spirit into flesh" and there are Dalish mages that can do the same.
I just really really hope that Inquisitor will not be given the same way Hawke was treated. Hawke should have been around (even as a background npc) during the final battle with Corypheus if Hawke was kept alive.
