So how about them Ryder siblings, eh? Do you think we'll get a certain look if we pick a certain preset, kind of like they did with DA2? I would hope we could tweak the sibling even if we do. Also, I'm kind of wondering how the sibling dynamic will be. I would love for them to be on our team, but it seems that won't be the case with their comment. I'd imagine we get to pick their looks. It seems the dynamics with other characters will be decide based upon our conversations with them. Yes but with the sibling, there is already history there. I'm just hoping that Bioware doesn't automatically make our sibling hostile to us so that they become the big bad.

Scouting planets and systems 3. Looking for resources 4. Seeking Intelligence information 5. Help establish Mining Outposts 6. Staying invisible as per the plot story arc.

I'm wondering if the whole sibling thing is just a gimmick for the character creator or will the brother/sister play some role in the story. If family plays a role in the story, I hope it's better than DA2.

Here's a theory hahaha Dad and kids are actually undercover Cerberus operatives. hahaha . They have been for years, but dad spent all his time with the Alliance secretly passing information to TIM. Once the project to go to Andromeda was started, TIM suggested to dad to volunteer to go. Dad, decided it would be a good idea since his wife and the mother of his children died recently of an illness. The kids liked the idea and were onboard. TIM also mentioned that he had a few other undercover operative that will be going to Andromeda as well. Once there, they will build up Cerberus. They will spread the word that humanity is best. They will also hamper any alien trying to get to the top. By the end of the game, Cerberus has a foothold in Andromeda. hahaha. This calls for the big guy "Cerberus, I hate these guys" Nah, I liked Cerberus, but we need a new supremacist group with another new angle. It's the moment of TERRA FIRMA... ...but they won't have Earth anymore tho. If I were a developer, I will try to use the Ryder Sibling the less possible and only in the most important moments. They could use them as Anderson or Hackett in ME3: you play with Anderson at his side at the begining of ME3, then you talk to him after the most relevant missions (plot advance missions) and then you see him again in Priority Earth and the ending. I don't think your sibling will be for long in your squad, the replayability would be odd and you will see too much of the specific default personality of your NPC sibling... which was your main character in other play. If you interact with your sibling only in the most important moments, you can avoid what Hanako feared the most: your former main character acting very strange and off your canon version as NPC. Another drama point: if we have a Virmire situation, maybe this time you don't make the decision but your father. And obviously he would choose you (because you are the NPC) so your PC will feel horrible because his/her sibling has died (survivor's guilt) and even you can add drama hating your father because of Sophie's choice.

I was watching the E3 2015 video of ME:A,and I've noticed the N7 guy(our father) is on board of the Temepest...and he selects the desert planet. I was thinking...could be possible, that father Ryder be one of our squadmate?or maybe a playable character?

Maybe as a temporary squadmate but i don't believe Bioware will make him permanent. But right now with the level of info we have (almost zero) i suppose anything is possible. ps: Antibaar's sky was pretty.

Yeah...Antibaar is one of my favorite planets in ME,I hope to see more of this in Andromeda. About father...there has to be 2 options: 1-is one of our squademate 2-possible a enemy(but not from the begining of the game). And watching the E3 2015 video, the father is very agile for his age.Lets think a bit:I believe, the Ryders brothers are TWINS...and let's suppose they are 25-30 years old.Ok...then the father has to be something like 45-50 years old,but he is in a very good shape.I believe the father Rayder was one of the first N7 operatives ever.

I think the lifespan for humans is quite a bit longer in the ME universe than in real life(?). If so, then his sprightliness is not quite so strange.

Even at that age he would still be in good shape especially if he's been in the military for a number of years. If he joined at 18, he could be in for close to 30 years or longer. Yeah. Nothing strange about him being able to do what is seen in the trailer.

Yes. Shepard mentioned humans livespan go up to 150 years. More accurately, Shepard says humans are lucky to reach 150. So that is still a rare thing, but yeah human lifespans have increased a couple decades compared to our real world expectancy. But as themikefest said, even today a lifelong soldier would be able to do what our father could do in the trailer, especially with the suits we have in Mass Effect.

More than likely the sibling you play will be out and about and the one you don't play will be someone like Joker who you have conversations with, and who may advise you, but who never leaves the ship, or the colony, or whatever. Because this is a new galaxy to explore, I don't thing Bioware is going to be wasting time with family matters.

And yet they have the N7 that appeared in different trailers already be the father of the PC. If family would have a small role they wouldn't put two members, with one being shown a lot, even before our character. Family will have a big role in the game, almost surely.

I didn't say it would a small, or insignificant role, I just don't think you're going to see the Bioware equivalent of Family Feud. A lot of people seem to be thinking that the father and sister / brother are going to be the antagonists. I would more likely suspect the main quest will end up being some form or rescue mission.
