You don't fix M/M issues by making a straight character bi.

Of course they went with a lazy alien gimmick instead of addressing the fact the two already existing M/M options are terribly implemented.

Both Gil and Reyes are made with recycled ugly character creator assets (and yes, this means you can find near clones of them in the game as NPC's; an NPC nearby Addison virtually has Reyes's same face, but with a different hairstyle).

Jaal was written as straight, period. All he talked about was his previous girlfriend. Reyes danced with male Scott as if he were dancing with the female Ryder template, and his kiss went near scott's cheekbones instead of mouth. Gil is a whole other matter with his baby mama storyline and the fact he's got a bald spot in his chin amidst the stubble for some reason on top of the carrot orange hair on a darker skin guy. No Reyes during movie night, and no expanded dialogue for both existing M/M options to come remotely close to Cora/Peebee.

Instead we'll get a romance that was originally made for a female Ryder and that same horrific scene I'd rather not think about too closely. Which is hilarious, that some freak Alien going down on you is going to be the closest to M/M intimacy over the actual human options.

Just, ugh. Fucking Twitter and those idiotic hashtag gimmicks giving developers the quick fix they preferred over revisiting what they actually fucked up. No need for more lines or scenes with Reyes or Gil. They now pair you up with an alien and call it a day.
