I'm a bit confused. Are you accusing them of lying, or not? Not lying. Just to embellish the truth a little bit. On the lines of, hey we hired a consultant, without mentioning when. Excuse me, but I have as a hard time imganining they created a whole new romance within 4 to 5 weeks as I have with hiring a consultant for a bloody patch, after the peak sales for the game are already over. Gotcha. This ends up being a bit like Shale, come to think of it. Shale was going to be cut outright before DA:O got an extension, right? |

Apparently Jaal was supposed to be bi from the jump according to dev tweets. Seems to me further proof EA rushed the game out the door and now BW is retroactively trying to make good on promises. I'm not sure "rushed" is the right way to describe the situation. ME:A had a long enough dev cycle and even an extension. Bio just blew their deadlines. You can make a case that EA should have eaten the loss and extended into the next FY, sure. Maybe they wanted to make an example out of Montreal instead of bailing them out? Bad for ME brand equity, but good for keeping more important teams focused. It's pretty obvious at this point the ME:A had a very... turbulent development cycle. I would say the game's failings are a result of a mixture between shakeups during the dev process as well as a final rush to get the game out in time for the deadline. ME:A really could've used another year in the womb...  |

Sure you name ain't dark rage? Jaal had nothing saying he was simply straight. Ah the hell with it. At this stage Bioware could shit solid gold bricks and people would still say it's shit not gold. Seeing as you always jump to the defense as if you were constantly on your knees praying to the gods of game creation, I take your opinion as seriously as I take hateful comments. OP has a point. I'm not gay, but I see how limited M/M options in this game already are. Gil, possibly the most boring character in the whole game and Reyes, who's cool, but who simply vanishes if you choose Sloane to lead Kadara. I take the Jaal business the same way as I took Kaidan suddenly turning bi. I don't really care, but I do understand that gay people may have hoped for some more meaningful approach. Ever wonder why I jump to the defense? Because some of these comments on here are downright hilarious and hypocritical. The game has issues but when they fix them and people still bitch?! Hilarious. |

Almost all of Bioware's bi male characters only talk about their history with women, it's a pretty common video game cliché. Probably due to the fact that most bi male characters in video games are originally written as heterosexual.

Just be warned, there are some truly terrible graphics in Babylon 5, which can make it very jarring at first. You'll eventually get used to it, and its well-worth getting past season 2 as it gets better every season.
I do wish they would do a remaster of it with graphics for the space scenes that do the series justice.

If they use resource that much to Make Jaal bi, I want they to creat new Gay character on Tempest instead. I can't say that i agree with OP because I want Liam to be bisexual. But Liam have more possibilty to be Biseuxual than Jaal in my opinion. well liam quite EXPLICITLY TELLS YOU hes not into dudes. Jal does not. Jaal never talk about dudes like I for two years never talked about dudes either because none tingled my nethers. Thought I was maybe only into girls, then after two years I found out that, eh.. some dudes are also tingling me nethers. I think its the same for jaal and I grew up with humans- the angara never even met humans until maybe 1,15 years.. So jaal coming out as bi makes so much more sense than turning liam who says hes not into dudes (or maybe not into scot? whatever, its a explicit rejection) into someone who now suddenly likes scott? |

YOU may have tons of aliens to fuck, gay dudes HAD ZERO. Only ever human male characters, and 75% of them cobbled together in a CC instead of hand designed. so, idk, maybe, just once, assume that not everyone gets what you are just expecting as given so much you can act as if you are swimming in fuckable alien LIs? |

Wasn't Jaal supposed to be bi originally? I know a lot of times actors will read dialogue that will never make it into the game like Harkin hitting on Princess BroShep. I do seem to recall Jaal being mentioned as an option for both male and female Ryder very early on though. |

Gil and Reyes DO count towards the achievement. The problem is, if you're gay, you cannot get the achievement because you're out of options, unlike all other players. Ah, gotcha. Thought it was a "squadmate" thing with the achievement too. Hmmm, so how does a gay Sara get it then? PeeBee, Suvi... Who is the other one? Edit: Vetra I guess. Forgot about her, guess she is a Sara option too then. Edit 2: (getting late, brain must already be asleep) They could have also just let Reyes count toward the achievement. Still would have left out a m/m squadie in either case though. Reyes DOES count towards the achievement, Salty Angara even said he did |

Sounds like a bi male to me The sad part is this is true of every bi male Bioware character. They talk a LOT about ex-girlfriends and female lovers. Outside of the male Inquisitor romance and his romance with Dorian if unromanced Iron Bull only talks about women, if you romanced him as a female Inquisitor you wouldn't know he was bisexual |
