Relationships & Romance - How do you think it'll play out?

Just please, PLEASE let there be more than 2 romance options for gay guys.

It will play out a bit like this

I really do not want a gift system. I hate gift system.

I want a romance similar to what a F!Smuggler had on Balmorra in SWTOR. High adventure, witty flirting while at it, getting each-other out of the life-threatening uber-dangerous situations in unbelievable feats of valor, a huge kiss in the middle of a raging battle, then move on, and maybe have another awesome romantic experience like that with a really cool character that the developers are not afraid to make larger than life rogue or a hero b/c the male PCs will hate a rival in coolness on their ship. I wanna an NPC like that fall on the spot for my awesome Ryder because she is the ME's gift to the mankind, and the best woman in the entire galaxy. Not because she'd listen patiently for 20 dialogues about his tragic formative years and gave him a stack of 50 gifts.

I know there will be a long-term sort of romances with the crew, build-up, dating and all, angling for a marriage in the end of the game, but I've never really liked those ones.

Where was there being a reporter confirmed? The script in the Explorers Wanted contest doesn't count since the scripts for the contests are made up solely for the contest, rather than reflecting on actual content. We saw this with the DAI scripts. 

I would actually like the Asari to not be a romance. Every single Asari we have had has been one, so would be nice to have one that isn't. That said I would put money on her being a LI. 

I highly doubt Bioware will incorporate incest. Plus incest with direct siblings is not a good way to ensure the survival of the human race, since incest that close brings problems. 

By that logic, we are advanced enough where procreation is no longer required period, since we are capable of both cloning and genetic manipulation meaning we can just make people. 
Ah, okay. 

Those who can get muckier with "mind banging" a la Demolition Man? Or bots, if you go the A.I. route. Though those poor bots. Bots are people too! Well, when they can think for themselves. What can i say, i get sentimental over the defenseless. Though i get sentimental over cats too. They're the great overlords so must be conditioning.

I don't think someone approves of the slight subject change. It's not like anyone else is going to say anything anyway, right? And if you have a bot, you can have them "lie" that they're anatomically correct.

While i agree with the notion about experience, something i was only joking against, the virginity bit is in everyone's head. Only the people who've got to deal with you care if you're a virgin or not. For those looking to "keep a score", they need to find something more productive to do with their time.

It's already been confirmed we can romance not only squadmates but also not-squadmates.

I'm not surprised. They've been doing that in Mass Effect 2, Mass Effect 3, and Dragon Age: Inquisition and each time it has been growing in popularity so makes sense they would continue. 
I'm glad they are doing it. Allows stories to be told that can't be told with squadmate love interests. 

Ok, let's do the math...

7 hypothetical squadmates 
2/2/2 hypothetical Love Interest (two gay romances man and woman, two heterosexual romances man and woman, two bisexuals man and woman)

If we have romances who aren't squadmates = maybe we have...

3 of 7 squadmates romanceable
or
4 of 7 squadmates romanceable
Which is good because it reduces the drama inside the missions (what I'm saying?? I LOVE THE DRAMA INSIDE MISSIONS!)
and we have romance options outside our squads (I want to fell in love with a baddie knowing he/she is a baddie BECAUSE I LOVE THE DRAMA)
