yeah it's a dead giveaway as Codemasters are using similar tricks to promote their next F1 game too. F1 2017 teasing all the classic cars that are going to be in the game this time round 1 at a time as they're bringing classics back this year. Last time they did that was back in 2013. Also this year they've added the possibility that you can play as a female driver this year as well which will be a first for the series. It's going to have a bit of an RPG feel about it as well apparently in career mode. They tried it a little bit in 2016 but it wasn't that sophisticated this yearapparently they've tried to make it bigger and better. Was thinking of creating a Sara Ryder on that and become an F1 world champ for a bit of a laugh when it comes out. Today they announced a couple of my favourite cars from years gone by so I'm looking forward to driving them again as they were in the 2013 game. It's annoying the hell out of people on Codemaster's forums too that tactic. That sounds like a lot of fun! About time us females got some acknowledgment (no offense lol)! Well F1 is a largely male dominated sport but it's good to see that the girls are starting to get a look in finally (at least on the game). Looking forward to seeing my Sara Ryder on the top step of the podium with Hamilton and Vettel either side of her. All that time racing around on H047C in the Nomad has paid off.

Why do I get the feeling you will be writing the exact same things you interminably write on here about Anthem, and saying DA4 is the bandaid (or full body cast) for that. Well seeing as I didn't like DA2 or Inquisition (although it was a huge improvement), and seeing as they are different genres created by different teams, and seeing that DA4 hasn't even been announced, and for all we know may very well come out before Anthem with all of Anthems delays... Actually, what you wrote is just a horrible analogy altogether. You haters are all too predictable. At this point if bioware did come up with something that you like you would still pretend to hate it just to be edgy. After all admitting that you like something would be seen as a weakness by your fellow haters.

Yeah I enjoy playing Codie's F1 games they're very good. F1 2016 was brilliant except for the fact that the R&D system was a little basic and mattered little beyond the 4th/5th season which was dissappointing given it's supposed to be a 10 season career mode I think that's why they've gone for a more RPG skill tree like approach. They haven't shown it off yet but that's apparently the idea for this year .As you do your practice and races you earn points just like yo udo in an RPG and you spend those points upgrading your team and character and car just as you do in Bioware's games when you unlock new powers or upgrade one .For example there are features in this years game that you need to pay attention to reliability levels and things like that because if you don't and just focus on getting new parts for example the new parts can and may end up failing on the car. Apparently you also have to watch your engine and gearbox components this year because if you don' tand end up using to omany components you can end up getting penalties much like the McLaren team has been doing in real life. But yeah it sounds like Codemasters are putting quite the package together this time round I just hope it works as well as advertised and hopefully smoother than MEA did at launch.

I was always a GT player, but this one is a must have game from what I'm hearing! yeah it sounds good it's just a question of how well they've pulled it off considering that like Fifa it's a yearly series game and like Fifa they have to turn it round to brin gout a new version each year as it's kind of CM's answer to Fifa except it's based on the F1 championship. But we'll know on the 25th August as that's when it releases. It's always hard to do things like that within a year I think but then Fifa did a good job withthe journey last year so will be interesting to see where they take that and build on in Fifa 18 so EA have proven it's possible. But then EA have a lot more resources than Codemasters do. Especially as we know they did actually use Bioware's knowhow to build the mechanics that the Journey uses

They're decent games, but as far as real physics are concerned, nothing beats the older games from the turn of the century. F1 challenge '99 to '02 is still the standard when it comes to F1 games. Heavily modded in the meantime, of course, to add new seasons and graphics. The good old days when EA still produced modderfriendly and realistic games. But nothing beats the even older Grand Prix Legend, featuring the cars and seasons from the 6oies with ultra realistic physics. There are actually quite a lot of racers, even today that give a realistic feeling. Such as dirt Rally, which also has a career mode or rFactor 2.

EA has always been pretty reliable with sports. EA Sports is a pretty big thing. Bigger than MP games I'd say even.

Rallying's not really my favourite though I prefer track based racing but yeah I personally prefer a more simcade approach to my racing which is more like what CM do in that it's not too hard to control and unforgiving as I've raced a few of those. Yeah I've got F1 challenge and the Geoff Crammond ones as well.I would asy my favourite ones are the F1 and Grid games that CM do. Grid Autosport for example is a lot of fun. especially driving tracks like Spa in reverse at night for example now that is a thrill ride. Just try taking Eau rouge at full speed downhill without thinking OH SHIT!!! I know it scares the pants off me every time I do it.

Honestly I'm not convinced Anthem is MP only. BioWare has said that the game will have single player, and that its important to them, and since BioWare is one of the kings of SP games I'm inclined to believe them. At least until I see more evidence otherwise.

A MP game like Destiny is only as soulless as your clan. For me, a good story in Anthem will be icing on the cake. I want it to be like Destiny where it facilities the ability to create awesome experiences with your friends and obtain some really cool loot. And I didn't see a thing in that gameplay reveal that seemed soulless. It made both Zelda BOtW and Horizon Zero Dawn look weak which is impressive bc those two games are my games of the past few years really

For people who love traditional Bioware game's,it's easy to understand the ever growing bitterness of fans,Bioware games have slowly been devolving under EA's management to the point where Andromeda doesn't even feel like a Bioware game, the focus clearly being on shooting stuff and multi-player. Andromeda is the first Bioware game I didn't enjoy very much. What they did with DAII, while I hated the simplified combat, wasn't a problem, since there was still a very personal story and enjoyable companions. ME3 didn't draw me in as much as ME2 did, but with DAI I clocked off more than 700 hours and still feel that itch to replay it and try something different. I'm nowhere near this feeling with Andromeda. I played it once, had a bit of fun, started an NG+ and got bored within hours. I feel pretty much the same way,I enjoyed DA2,ME2......ME3 was fine,I didn't expect much new due to the game being "trilogy ending focused"......DAI was weak in every department in my opinion, saved by the Trespasser DLC,which I felt was far more engaging than the main game..........ME Andromeda on the other hand was just dead on arrival,boring/generic characters, meaningless relationships, bland story etc..........in fact,it felt like the whole game didn't have a personality of it's own,it was just collection of bit's and bob's from other Mass Effect games. At this moment Bioware has KOTOR (an old MMORPG),possible new Dragon Age,Anthem and the failed Andromeda.........if your not into online gameplay, you have Dragon Age to look forward to and that's about it........for fans of traditional Bioware games the future doesn't look to good.

I start looking forward to it once they make an official announcement, complete with possible release date. Yes exactly.......Anthem seems to be the focus right now,so it's probably sucking up all available Bioware resources.......it's got to have an impact on any possible Dragon Age.

Dude it's MP, gonna be soulless. It made both Zelda BOtW and Horizon Zero Dawn look weak which is impressive bc those two games are my games of the past few years really The mission itself in the gameplay reveal was soullless/fetch-like. If it's representative of most of the in-game missions, then I see that as pretty soulless gameplay. But it may not be representative. Maybe it has a lot of great missions and an interesting story.

I think this game just needs people that can actually deliver a good Mass Effect game.
