Kotaku farts and all other sites take it as gospel. Nobody checks the facts. If Kotaku is exposed by the community for publishing nonsense then nobody of the "professional press" seems to care. They still accept the initial message.

Of course that doesn't mean that there will be DLC after all, but I simply reject all those articles based on Kotaku "sources".

I won't mind one or two SP DLC and will probably buy them.

Actually no. Denial, is far better if in denial you are happy rather than accepting something that doesn't feel good where you are unhappy. Simply put, happiness is far better for your health.

There is  zero benefit in facing reality if it doesn't feel good. If choosing to believe whatever you want brings you happiness, then that is always better. If people choose to think something that brings them happiness, who are you to say what is better for them? Why on earth would anyone choose to believe something that doesn't feel good when believing it could make them happier? It's  really the glass is half full/half empty debate. People who are optimistic generally have much better lives and are far happier. Pessimists generally don't thrive, have a propensity toward more stress, worse health, and depression.

If denial brings people happiness and whatever you are denying is not dangerous or causing more problems then denial is always better. I deny everything that doesn't serve me. And I'm happier and live a better life for it. 

No problem, I totally understand, I also left all forums in march 17 when all the shit was going down and bioware bashing was at his peak, I was on a forum on another sites for the 4 years after the relase of the citadel dlc, was there everyday until that happened...

I only returned after a long break, after the dust settled. So I totally get why you want to leave, but still...

I'm sure there was some truth to it, at least initially. I can't explain wtf happened since then though, it wouldn't surprise me if he since found out some of his 'sources' aren't quite what they were (would certainly explain the weird behaviour). 

But who knows. The stupid thing is none of this is relevant to whether he's correct or not - he could have made this up and guessed correctly, or he could have been reporting everything accurately and Bioware chose to go ahead.

It worked in my case. I was convinced last time that Inquisition was a big mess and I moved on. I finally played the DLC a few months ago and I regret not waiting. Coordinated pessimism took this fool for a ride.
