I have seen plenty of games with broke-ass animation off the jump that never got patched. Not quite sure were that train is headed... A few quests have been added, appearance items were added, cinematic and conversations were greatly improved... an entirely new romance... you know, nothing of importance added. You may not count it, but that is simply purposeful ignorance. It's not purposeful ignorance cause it's not real content. Get some DLC then tell me they've added real content cause content keeps people interested....not worrying if the game will even get DLC. Total fake content of course. I mean, it's in the game and all, so yeah, that's not content at all.

Sorry, but real content lasts for hours.

Why don't Bioware go normal and start marketing the first dlc's already. Mass Effect is super loved game and will pay back all the efforts when time goes. The sequel, a new game in Mass Effect universe, should already be on it's way.
And remember to kneel before Javik!
Sorry about my drunken rant. Wish this was a campaign for a great DLC but it was only an announcement for a free trial. Sob. I already pre-ordered, you, you... Bioware canadians!

Then you flipped to DLC as being the only 'real content', but that's not what this was about.

Jaal's romance was just one of them. Then you flipped to DLC as being the only 'real content', but that's not what this was about. DLC is the only real content as it tends to equate to hours of playtime. Minor additions like jaals(cause Jamal was a typo) romance or casual attire really adds very little replay ability like DLC which is why it's different to me. Plus the dude would be dead wrong on Andromeda being one of the few to add these minor additions cause just about every game does it (and I still don't count them as content, especially cosmetics). So DLC isn't straying off cause it's very relevant to what actual content is, something that adds hours of playtime over playing Barbie for a few minutes or sweet talking an alien for twenty.

If it was it would have lit the old BSN on fire even more than it was. I was there for the original ending debacle and I don't ever remember seeing it.

While this trial after release might be new for a BioWare product it's not necessarily new for EA. They've done this for other games to continue perking interest. After all, a sale's a sale.

To be fair, arguments could be made for and against the possibility of upcoming DLC. We just don't have enough data. But if you feel like choosing to be optimistic about something then there certainly isn't anything wrong with that. I don't think being optimistic and looking at actions as meaning something hopeful is a bad thing. We aren't dealing with crimes, murders and murderers. We are dealing with a group of gamers who some want dlc and some don't want to see dlc. Twist whatever facts you like if it makes you feel better. Nobody is going to die for it and nobody is getting away with murder because of it.
