To be fair, arguments could be made for and against the possibility of upcoming DLC. We just don't have enough data. But if you feel like choosing to be optimistic about something then there certainly isn't anything wrong with that. I don't think being optimistic and looking at actions as meaning something hopeful is a bad thing. We aren't dealing with crimes, murders and murderers. We are dealing with a group of gamers who some want dlc and some don't want to see dlc. Twist whatever facts you like if it makes you feel better. Nobody is going to die for it and nobody is getting away with murder because of it. He does have i point, some people are very eager to call everything evidence that DLC is in the works, I am hopefull (yet) but i don't think this kind of behaviour is healty because you are setting yourself for disappointment. It remind me a bit from how a lot of people decided to twist facts to support IT ( ) and then later became enraged when the obvious happened. Of course i also don't condone becoming a full time troll like Suikoden going around threads shitposting on anyone staying positive.

Of course i also don't condone becoming a full time troll like Suikoden going around threads shitposting on anyone staying positive. He's definitely right. I never said he was not. But in this case, considering how upset people were getting about no dlc with all the negative 'journalism' we were being hit with, I think being positive about something would be nice. Especially considering that with the other games, people didn't run around saying there would be no dlc, no future MEA anything, etc. We have no reason to think DLC is not coming except for the fact that BW hasn't confirmed either way. But in the past there was never such a negative shitstorm about no DLC coming even though there were plenty of negatives about the games themselves. The internet was on fire over ME3 endings. But nobody ever wanted to see BW burn to the ground over it. Nor were there this onslaught of ME is over. I mean there were some ME is over things but it wasn't a shock because shepard was dead, maybe dead, maybe not dead, maybe a reaper, maybe a reaper god. Here it's quite different. But even if sales sucked, they probably aren't worse than DA2 which took a ton of abuse and got next to no good reviews. That game still got 2 DLC IIRC. MEA sold 1 million in its first week which is equal to DA2 sales to date on xbox. So this whole no dlc thing is just completely insane. It's brush fires started by fools and haters and it leaves fans who want DLC feeling bummed about it. Why should they be bummed when there's a 90% chance that it's all BS and DLC was planned all along. Quarian was certainly planned. It's stated in game.

No. You just missed the people threatening the lives of BioWare staff because a video game didn't have a perfectly-happy ending. MEA sold 1 million in its first week Not even remotely close. Numerous analysis of sales data put it at at least three million by the end of March.

And people still think it won't get DLC when DA2 got it and did about the same if not worse. Edited to add: It's like tin foil hat city around here with everyone trying to avoid becoming too optimistic that they might get DLC when others say no. Take off the freaking tin foil hats already. DLC is coming.

I think having too big a fear of ever being disappointed cripples people from undertaking positive actions just because the outcome is not assured... but what do I know... I'm old and gone through a lot of disappointments in my life... I've also had a lot of success, too.

I've always wondered: is this...thing even authentic? I don't think so. If it was it would have lit the old BSN on fire even more than it was. I was there for the original ending debacle and I don't ever remember seeing it. It is. It's from the Final Hours of ME3 thing. I remember posting it and then being asked to take it down.

It's called massive patching and DLC on the way. This is exactly the strategy my marketing team would employ in my business if we wanted to boost sales and especially if something else was coming down the line related to that product. Surely you would patch the game before let people try it? I think it's a case of BioWare and EA having different opinions. If what we've heard is true, a lot of bad shit was going on behind the scenes. That meant the work that ought to have been going on to make this game better wasn't happening. EA, however, will look only at $$$ and say "This has to go out, now. We'll fix it once it's out." To us, that's a shitty decision to make but it's what happened. Beyond that, it's been going on for years now that games are released in need of more work. MEA just happened to have greater problems than we often see. Besides, what's the point of harping on the screw ups you, me, and many others have seen. What you think should have happened didn't happen. Rather than say "but they should have!" instead consider that they're fixing things now in order to be able to continue the franchise. Or stay angry if that helps. Never helped me.

But even if sales sucked, they probably aren't worse than DA2 which took a ton of abuse and got next to no good reviews. Actually, DA2 was released to some great (seriously overhyped) critical reviews. Even now DA2 maintains a Metascore of 82 compared to Andromeda's 72. I remember this quote from PCGamer vividly: Turns out you didn't even have to wait one.

Look, I know it's fun for everyone to trash Suikoden the way he does the game. He's obviously very angry and dissatisfied about how MEA turned out. Consider that he's actually more CONCERNED that BioWare is going to fail and he'll never see another decent RPG out of them than that he's a complete hater. I've said before that I'm not a fan of his tactics but I'm really starting to see that he's NOT HAPPY with the idea that BioWare may never do another ME game again. It's just coming out as anger at BioWare. I don't think he hopes BioWare fails. Instead, he fears that they'll fail.

Framing people like him, who devote themselves to spouting complete lies and blatantly-false information about a game they openly admit they know almost nothing about, as merely a concerned fan is honestly more insulting to people's intelligence than his whining itself.

BioWare has a counter point though. "LOTS OF SPECULATION FROM EVERYONE!" - Mac Walters I still cringe that they actually thought that was a solidly smart plan. For a game. Where there will be sequels. Just what the hell were they all smokin' I doubt they had any intention of doing a sequel at the time.

Hey everyone,
I'd like to give this trial a go but was wondering how the PS4 demo works and the file size? Size is a concern because my internet is snail speed and limit to how much I can download. Will my progress from the demo carry over if I buy the physical copy instead? Thanks you.

When the evidence that MEA is not dying pop up on this forum. SomeoneI really feel sorry for you. If Bioware is toxic to you, why you still stay on this land? Go to somewhere save... maybe Land of Bethesda or CDProjekt or Obsidian.

As others have said, he was very gleeful during the Sinclair hoax thread. He even had an avatar about "Sinclair" saying that there was no DLC.

I've read posts from him where he's bashed members who are happily talking about the game or optimistic about DLC and said they were all circlejerking. You do know what that is right? I also remember some kind of happy dance video or gif he posts that I think was related to no dlc news or something along those lines. Circlejerking comments have come from him on more than one occasion. Perhaps two or three? Not that I am for attacking him but I think whatever he gets at this point in response to that behavior is something of his own making. For ever action there is an equal or opposite reaction. If he doesn't want people to treat him badly, perhaps he should not be rude and insulting?
