We're people too harsh? Yes. Especially those who didn't actually play the game or more than it's 10 hour trial.

1- Would they have "merged" the studios if they believed mea was a successful game and planning on continuing it. 2- The patches are for MP only now. They are done with trying to fix SP. 3- DLC means the future of the game and if they don't talk about it, it is dead I think it's important to point out that I heard it mentioned back in January that BioMontreal and Motive were being moved into the same building and I actually already thought they were moved together by the time MEA came out until someone asked EA if they were merged thing came out recently. That would really suggest that the merger was already being done before MEA came out (may also be why EA couldn't logestically let them have more time for MEA) specially since those kinda merger takes months if not a year to properly plan. Therefore MEA's results had nothing to do with the merger. I would argut that it's more likely the problems with mangaement that were reported in Bioware Montreal that led to it but again, that's speculation They most likely knew the game was going to be mediocre back in January, hence the merger.

Sorry no. If that were the case then the player numbers would be nill. Most enjoy it,?the negative Nancy's are just louder. If people were still playing the game there'd have been some DLC. Right so all the people playing with me are in my head. Good to know. Oh and yes I also mean the ones that are playing SP as well.

If people were still playing the game there'd have been some DLC. Could have sworn I activated two monoliths on Veold tonight. Must have been dreaming. By the way, Veold is a planet that you go to after the time allowed in the ten hour preview, as you won't know about it.

Too harsh in the sense that a crappy game maybe doesn't deserve this much public scorn. If Ubisoft had made this game I wouldn't have give two shit. But this is not say that the game is actually 'good' but people judged it too harshly. It really does suck.

Actions speak louder than words. Play the damn game. Those actions will show us you know what you speak of. I agree overall with the responses posted, & by all gods that have ever existed, I am tired of the poster quoted here as well, but one thing I disagree with is trying to convince someone who expressed a strong dislike for a game is to just play more of it. It's unnecessary. If there is a doubt somewhere, they will like phoray give it another shot & might change their overall opinion on it. If they are convinced, there is no reason for them to play it. We can only hope they will stop recycling their opinion, as yeah, we get it. So suikoden don't need to play it, and I don't need to throw my money for the W3, because we both know for certain we simply will not enjoy the respective experiences. Sometimes, the game just does not click at all, and it's fine.

Yes, but what is objectionable about @siukoden behavior is not his specific dislike of the game, no matter how many hours he played, or what he had seen or have not seen, it's his crusade. Crusaders are better left to wave their banners & march on, in my experience.
