I am . Not in the serious depression but you get the idea. i am really really bumped because no mass effect, With Inquisition i got closure, i got 3 packs of awesome DLC which offered me replay value , closure and many hours added to the main game. I am at peace with inquisition as i played for more 850 hours and this part is done. i may replay it sometime but i have only good memories with it. With Andromeda it is a different situation however. it it really sad. After 5 f%^$ing months the game is dead. literraly dead!!!! A mass effect which i waited since 2013(i count me3 dlcs also), a new adventure whcih i waited for 4 years patiently ... is dead in the water. Hell even Hello games have not abdandoned their game after so much shit! i cannot get what i got with inquisition, meaning i cannot be at peace. I really loved andromeda , finished it in 200 hours in 8 of august and i was really looking forwad to future dlc in order to find the BEST excuse to return. the best excuse to shut the mouths of haters. But sigh... now all i ahve ais a vague memory of what might have been. I will replay the game but it is not the same without longing for extra content. If bioware cannot love their child how and why should i? I bought my PsVr lately and i really love it to the point i have almost zero interest in other games. it has so much potential and everyhting in Vr automatically is better. Except for bioware titles. I really ahve the same exact feeling of loneliness whe i first experienced the original me3 ending. i feel like shit.

I was, but I am fine now. In 2018, two slightly older games are likely to come on sale, two games I want will be released, and I've just picked another on sale. That's on top of me only having run each of the games in ME and DA franchise twice or once. I also can't tear myself from MP, even though I know it's about to lose support.
2018 has more new and old games than I have time for, and that's crazy. In fact, I am again facing the problem of gaming too much....

See, I was tricked by BW's other games to trust that DLC would happen. It always does, right? Even DA2 got it . . .
So why they ditched this title, even not patching it in only 5 months - I don't really understand. It's not like they can't afford to do DLC, not with EA pulling in record amounts of cash last quarter. At a minimum, they might have broken even. No, they just basically gave what's left of the Mass Effect fan base the finger. I'm guessing the series is gone for good, they know it and just don't care.
Oh - and if we can read about it, I will do just that. For free. On the internet.

I'm bummed that it's been abandoned by Bioware and EA but it's not dropped by me. I've just started a new play of MEA, we picked up the remaster of Crash Bandicoot for our PS4 today and I'm half way through a play of TW3. I'm a gamer so I'm gonna game!
...and also wait for the novels cause much excite.

I prepared myself for this a couple of months ago but it is still kind of a bummer. It also makes me less likely to show any interest in Anthem. Even if it was just a couple of DLC it would have given us closure but the suits are making the decisions now. The fact that Casey Hudson is back and Mass Effect is his baby gives me some hope for the franchise. But even he doesn't have the final say on it. Unfortunately corporate will determine that.

Meh, I adored DA2, and it is pretty close to perfect. Who cares about the backdrops being similar when the game is so awesome I did not even notice they were all the same till almost the end of my first PT. I like short, crazy, go-go-go games with a light attitude. And, yep, for me Andromeda belongs with the games I loved the most, KOTOR2, Jade Empire, DA2 and ME2/3. Great characters, fun narrative, pleasant gameplay, no tedious stuff that is hard to dodge. Bring on more games like that, rather than stuff like Inquisition & I'll be happy.
peeps can play their perfect games 100 times and cry over others not measuring up, or quibble over matters of taste. I am open to loving imperfect and quirky and if I want angst-filled nervous breakdown inducing writing, I'll re-read Crime and Punishment. In my games I like light banter and I don't examine every sentence under microscope.

At least they fixed the game's bugs and out of the ordinary animations. But the whole thing is like a giant " hey i am goona fix your game to shut your mouth and then SOD OFF"

Do you want it as a separate DL? haha it it the feeling that bioware abandoned MY favorite 2017 game 5 months later. I feel neglected. it sounds hyperbolic i know! Heh, after my favorite game bio sold their company and name to EA. I have not gotten a sequel, but some of the games they have made under EA auspices were excellent. I think that they've made a mistake pulling the rug from under Andromeda, as I sort of felt that the public opinion is just starting to turn around, and some quiet tinkering will pay off... Actually, it may be for the best that Andromeda did not go through another round of kicking of the ME3 baggage.
After all is said and done, the game is large and satisfying despite the mysteries left unsolved.
Anyway, hugs, and I hope you'll feel better soon!

To be honest I haven't really been bothered by this news. It's a shame, but I'm not really overly upset about it. I suppose the fact that I haven't touched ME:A in a while probably contributes to that. I've sort of already moved on to other games at this point.
I'm arguably more annoyed by Inquisition's DLC which puts the Inquisitor's "real ending" behind a second pay wall. That's just shoddy DLC practice in my eyes as I shouldn't have to pay $20 more to get the full ending to the game, which I consider that part of the full ending even if the Corypheus part is done by the end of the DA:I base game.
If nothing else, I suppose this serves as a warning that people shouldn't buy a game on the hopes that there will be DLC. Buy it purely for the base game and nothing else, and if you get DLC then it's a nice bonus.

I was upset so when I'm upset I play strategy games. I picked up Rome Total War and slaughtered hundreds of Carthaginians....I feel better now. I know how you feel, we have all waited so long for this game to launch only to see it dropped a couple of months after its release and now we will have to wait at least 5 or more realistically 10 years before seeing a new ME title again. It's pretty bad.
I suggest forcing yourself to game something else to bring your focus and passions somewhere else. There is little happiness in focusing on ME at the moment. Do NOT play MEA in this state of mind as it will only increase your frustration. Delete the game immediately from your console/PC and focus on something else.

Heck no. I was already seeing it coming. Besides, the only time I got somewhat "depressed" (I'm not using that term accurately) was when main TW3 ended and everyone was gone. Perhaps ME3's endings too.

I'm not depressed, but I was disappointed at launch, and upset at a few points afterward.
In the end they just may not get my money and I have more opportunity to dive into my existing games library.

Eh... Solas did walk out on you during the vanilla Inquisition as well in an odd cutscene. Or was it edited into the main game after Trespasser was released? To tell you the truth I wanted my money back really badly after playing Trespasser. So, perhaps, it's for the best that I would never know what happened between Jien, Ryder and Benefactor.

DA2's Legacy DLC is also treated as canon, and introduces DAI's villain. The first time I played ME3, I had not played The Arrival DLC, and had no idea why Shepard was in custody and decommissioned at the beginning of the game. Granted, she'd worked with Cerberus during ME2, but Anderson was still supportive, the Council still offered limited support, and Hackett had even asked her to place a monument on the Normandy's crash site, so none of them seemed terribly upset with her. I guess I always figured she would turn the SR-2 over to the Alliance after the assault on the collector base and wash her hands of Cerberus. Also, note that LotSB (and other DLCs) are also treated as canon.

The whole case rests on the final 64 seconds of DAI transforming the game from one with an ending into one without an ending. How do we distinguish between a sequel hook and something which transforms an ending into a non-ending?
